I need to order a neck for this one. 2 down, 3 to go...

Just arrived today... the V is Kelley green, too lazy to take a pic.. Just need to finish setup and wire it up.

I knew a guy that was one of Entwistle’s guitar techs. He would change every string on his touring basses and they would be sold for $6 each at the next show...

Bend and cut, 2-3 wraps on the low strings, 3-4 wraps on the high.

I found them on ebay usa. one guy (rosser) did the 51, reverse and non-reverse bird bodies, but wouldn't do the explorer or V. Explorer and V (gluff) cost a bit more, but he was the only one I could find to make them.

51 Slab side body should ship any day now... still waiting on two necks, and need to order at least one more, maybe two. Next body confirmed, but it won’t ship until the “V” body is done in a couple weeks....

Getting closer... I finally got the cheap rocktron compressor working, and it blows the tc out of the water.

And the only pedal that for sure isn’t coming off is the cheap derrière joyo ultimate drive. maybe the tuner too

I spend more time arranging it than playing through it...

I got the chrome Hipshot bridge for a decent price, so other than the neck plate and the string tree, most everything else will be chrome. the non-reverse body has been purchased. reverse double p pickups Fiesta Red, with a white pickguard is the plan. I’m enjoying playing fretless quite a bit, so I’m considering a purpleheart fretless neck.

Not a jazz in the house...
