Sounds like you not a frequent Church goer? ..... Also in most cases it means the pastor would have less than 48 hours to prepare his sermon/teaching 😆
-
Some of them I like, but yea I agree they are pretty flipping boring for bass players, almost all of them are just root notes... with the odd passing note to get you the next root. Great for begineers, but even I have have started to grown tired of them. Of course one can always add their own flavour to things from time to time

I agree that in may case it's frustrating due to my lack of ability right now.... i'm still learning so find it hard to adapt on the fly... something that only comes with practice.
-
I found that when we practice, someone decides that we will repeat the chorus x2 or whatever in a certain part. So I make notes on my chord chart and then in the actual service... they change their mind and go straight to the next verse... 😆

Out of interest does it have a preset for Harp do you know?

+1 for Unitune, polytune seems a bit pointless for bass. Also I think, but not certain that the Unitune has a strobe mode.

I heard and read a lot of good things about the Cali76.

I'm using a TC SpectraDrivePre-amp which includes Spectra comp.. albiet with only 1 knob... My preferences are the Nathan East 'Captain East' as already mentioned as well as the 'butterknife' Andre Bowman. It works for me... Whether it's equally as as a standalone pedal, I couldn't say, I'm still very new to playing. The SpectraDrive is a great little box for the price.

Liked and subscribed to your channel. If you having anything for my current ability level that would be awesome... Something around 20bpm would be great 😜😭

Sounds like they have a pretty Pro worship team of they are playing to clicks (needing IEM if guess) and preferring no sheet music or chord charts on stage.

SOLD: Trace Elliot V6 all valve 400w holy grail of a bass amp!

Interesting points of view on the power rating of this amp, why should/would anyone diverge from the manufacturers ratings of what the amp can output? What this logic suggests is, that anyone selling a second hand amp should dig out the schematics to determine the power output before advertising...? 🤷♂️ -
I think in general Thomann do a sterling job, I bought a Squire CV Mustang from them... QC was awful fretboard was damaged. I took photos and they processed the return proving me with shipping labels etc and it was returned to them at no cost to me. Bit different I guess as the product was clear not up to standard. If I bought something that I didn't use because my needs had changed.. well that's my responsibility. Sometimes things don't ways work out and for those times you just have to take it on the chin. Advertise it on this forum, maybe someone will buy it from you. Thomann have always been extremely fair in their dealings and their customer service is Excellent. I just checked Andertons returns policy and if the item is not faulty you have to pay return postage costs and they are UK based!

"Musikhaus Thomann regrets that it is unable to cover the shipping costs for return shipments from foreign countries as part of the 30-day money back guarantee."

Yea it was joke... I was exaggerating on their propensity for litigation. Not a huge fan of their aesthetic either and I get the impression the necks are as thin as a broomstick!

Agreed! Do you know why you never see any Rickenbackers advertised here?

Only because we fear a cease and desist notice.
