Sandberg any day. Build quality is better, playability is better, just everything is better.
The only reason to buy a Fender over a Sandberg is for resale value. If that's the case, why are you buying a bass you're going to sell!
Has in Vintage the brand.
A mate has offered to sell his Vintage V4 P copy to me for a song and I'm tempted to make it a little lockdown project.
I'm looking to take out the neck and replace it with a Jazz style version and then possibly swap the pickups, bridge, tuners etc.
Do Vintage use similar specs to Fender for the neck heels and hardware?
How much?! 😲

Truss rod adjustment, action at the bridge, action at the nut and then intonation. Anytime you change string gauges, brand or type will require a full set-up.
I have just bought one myself and can confirm. I actually found out about them because of a gig I did last year where the soundguy used one of these and we had a great discussion about phantom power!
This has gave me a real itching for another Sandberg. Thinking of selling one of my basses to make room for another...
Has anyone used the configurator on Sandberg's website? Do you place an order with them directly or do you have to go through a dealer?
