The bass features a 34" Canadian hard maple neck with rosewood fretboard, ash body, dual mag pickups which are split coil humbuckers, two band preamp, Gotoh tuners and an exlusive Duvoisin mono rail bridge. Nut width 1.54″ , string spacing at the bridge 19mm. The bass plays very well, and the sound is strong, rich , powerful. As you can see the color is very beautiful and hard to capture. The feel of this neck is really amazing and the sound is superb (it's a stingray, right?) Condition is almost like new (few little marks), with original case and candy. Got this recently in a trade from will4bass, but i need the cash. I can also be tempted with a partial trade for a four string bass. This is a Sawdowsky NYC 5 string jazz bass, which has been modified. It is a unique bass with a very beautiful finish. Added were 2 period correct Bartolini pickups, with a three way toggle switch per pickup-set. That way you can really create any sound you like:) The maple neck is from '94, really nice to play and seems to be refinished in a yellowish clear coating at some point, done by a professional. Pickguard is custom made. We were not sure about the body, but is seems the original finish. The bass has some playwear but nothing serious, it has been taking care off in a good way. I bought this dream of a bass just recently here...i fell for the looks although i can't really use the Stingray sound...i think i am not the only one who's had this issue...;) Bass is in almost new condition. Bought in 2020 by previous owner, comes with original case, etc. Color is Firemist Silver, with a very smooth roasted maple neck: sounds great and plays even better. For sale this Warwick Thumb NT from 1988. It's a bit of the same story with the Stage 2 i also have for sale. Bought on this forum from GreeneKing and thankfully i can use some of his information (if you want the whole history, please click on the old ad below). The Thumb is in good condition. The body straplock is replaced. There is a new MEC replacement for the bass/treble pot, but i did not have problems with it yet. Also comes with a very comfortable strap and case. It is a wonderful bass with beautiful woods and from what i've heared these older Thumbs do sound a bit different than the newer ones being made. I am happy to ship at buyers risks and costs. For sale is this Warwick Streamer Stage 2, bought on this forum from dyerseve. This one was handmade in Germany in 1989. The Stage 2, particular from this era, was on my list for quite some time. Unfortunately, i've tried my best to love the sound, but it just isn't for me...and that is why maybe i can make someone else happy. The bass has his marks, especially above the neck pickup, but is in overall good condition (frets and fretboard have been cleaned - the frets have then been polished and the fretboard oiled). Everything works perfectly - the truss rod, the electronics etc. - as you would expect from a bass of this quality. Weight is 4.6 kg.
