For sale (not 100% sure) is this white Yamaha BB3000A, the active version, made in Japan in the mid '80s. Stunning rosewood fretboard and with only a few minor marks...very good condition and all original, except for the golden string tree. Only for sale because i can use the money. I don't think there is a better version of this bass in this condition...really good example and you know how good it sounds:) I can include a case (not original) and i can ship. Yes! Unfortunately, because of my own stupidity, i did not take the deal with the Warwick Star Bass from this forum, and it is gone now. I hope i can buy one from Thomann! Thanks for the info everyone:)

Yes, i was referring to this bass. But i have contacted the owner already, it is a Teambuilt. I was a bit confused because this is also a StarBass II, but a teambuilt, not a masterbuilt. I was also confused by the price, because they are £1555 new at Thomann. Maybe they lowered the price. Thank you for your answer! That explains a lot:)

Hello, i am looking for a Warwick Star Bass. There is one for sale at the moment, but it is a Pro series Teambuilt, not a StarBass II, because that would be a Masterbuilt. The price is £1700. Is that a good price? And what are the differences between a Pro Series Teambuilt and a Masterbuilt? Thank you!

Mustapha from here gave me the opportunity to buy this magnificent bass from him...and she ís truly amazing. It is an STR Guitars bass, made in Japan, often called the Fodera from Japan. Unfortunately i have to sell to raise funds for our new home, so this one is on the list to look for a new owner. Trade options available, 4 string only and with cash from your side, otherwise i wasn't selling this one. I've got the most from the old topic from Mustapha, glad i could use it, thanks: Body : Ash Neck : Maple Fingerboard : birdseye maple Ring/inlaid dots and a beautiful volute on the back Pickups : single coils STR Preamp : Aguilar OBP-3 Weight : 4.5kg Scale : 34 String space : 19mm The color has turned into a nice white/yellow. For trade (or sale) is my Wood & Tronics Chronos custom 5 string model. Handbuild by Enrico Pasini from Italy. Weight is only 3,6 kg. I've made new pictures to try to capture theat classy look that this bass definitely has. Looking for a trade for this one, preferable a 4 string bass, with cash from your or my side. A nice Precision, passive or active, would be nice. But also interested in other trades! A sale is also possible:) Trade value is of course a little higher. Specs: Body: European Alder; Neck: 3-piece Maple; Fingerboard: Quilted Satin wood from Sri-Lanka, the only light-coloured hardwood in the world, for great feel and tone; Preamp: EAST SP2 with volume-blend-boost high-medium-low with active/passive switch.
