Hello there, For sale/trade my Alembic Essence from 1991, with original case, original papers, original Alembic strings and the invoice from when this bass was bought in 1991. It has a beautiful walnut top, maple body and mahogany back. The bass is in very good condition, please look at the pictures. The neck is from maple with walnut veneers, gloss finish and chrome tuners. Controls are: pan-vol-tone. New price for an Alembic Essence is 12.000 and up, exlc. shipping, vat, etc. My price is €3500. I remember this bass...correct me if I am wrong, but I read from the previous owner that he took it to his Luthier to make the body more hollow, and that the Luthier made a new top because of that. If it is true, it's worth to mention in my opinion.
