A couple of drive related pedals surplus to requirements. Both excellent. DHA VT1 Drive bass with 12 volt power supply. Good condition The VT1-MK3-Bass uses a single 12AX7 (ECC83) valve to generate classic pure valve tones. There are two modes of operation, overdrive and clipping distortion which also has 2 separate options of clipping. The VT1-MK3-Bass is a low to medium gain effect and is intended to be used in front of a valve amplifier, but will also work well with solid state amps. The foot switch provides a true by-pass and the LED indicates if the effect is on or off and the cool blue back-light seen via the valve vents indicates the power is on. £50 delivered Second is my Tritomnlab FET overdrive. Also in immaculate condition. looking for £80 delivered to your door. This pedal is based on jFET transistors with an operating voltage of 33 volts (Step-Up converter to 33 volts inside). This high voltage is necessary to obtain a good dynamic characteristics of guitar signal. Many guitar pedals using 9 volts, but with this voltage is not possible to get a good dynamic sound. The use of jFET transistors allowed to enrich the sound of the even harmonics. This makes it sound like a tube preamp and a good signal / noise ratio. All transistors are carefully selected by parameters.

Mines arrived Packaging is excellent and the build is great. Really only had time after work to had a play but the controls feel intuitive and it covers a lot of ground. I'm loathe to say too much until i've tried it in a rehearsal setting but it feels really good. i'll post more when I get some time Massively impressed with Alex's work....it's bloody good

I've tried them all and Cali is an absolute keeper. i also had the larger transformer version but I honestly prefer the 76CB for live work. I found the larger version a little tougher to dial in outs side of any studio recording. My gas for compressors is over and this is permanently on my board. Its discrete enough in size and power requirements but also hefty enough to do serious damage down the local 'Frog and Vomit' if any of the locals get rowdy.

Alex who builds the pedals has been in touch. not only has he given me comprehensive shipping details but a breakdown of how the pedal works. It's all quite exciting and i'll post some pictures and sound clips once it arrives.

My Blueberry Bass Overdrive. Looking for £50 delivered While mainly designed for bass guitar, the BBBO can also be used with other instruments for low, dynamically controlled distortion. Controls VOLUME: controls output DRIVE: sets the amount of distortion and sustain, as well as the type of distortion. Lower settings give dynamically controlled overdrive, the unit distorts more the harder you strike the strings and there is no definite clipping point, but rather different shades of distortion as the amplitude changes. Higher settings will give more compressed sounds. A good starting point with most basses is fully CCW, turn the knob until you find the overdrive level that suits your playing. Lower settings are good for old school tube amplifier tone, while higher settings gives denser distortion. NATURE: is a tonecontrol for filtering and to control what register distorts. Turning CCW gives more lowend and also distortion in the lower registers. Turning CW gives an emphasis in the upper midrange for more protruding solo bass tone. Electrical specification: • Input impedance approximately 500K Ohms • Recommended load 50K Ohms • Current consumption at 9V approximately 4 mA • Max gain at 1KHz approximately 50 dB • Supply voltage range 8-12V’s • True bypass POWER REQUIREMENTS: 6F22 9V battery or DC eliminator 2.1 mm plug

The volume control isn't an issue..... you can set this is in the settings menu........ a lot of the updates Markbass are trumpeting on their site are firmware updates so i'd be intrigued to see why they have discontinued previous models (however their site is notoriously bad) - the front end looks identical to me apart from the change of headphone volume knob to control Volume.......... I also think the Multi-amp is an incredible piece of kit despite all of their marketing eccentricities. It really is a true all in one solution.
