1. Blimey................. Sold
2. If its even half as good as their bass heads then thats a top piece of kit
3. More of a pre-amp than an effect but I didn't think it belonged in the amps and cabs section. For sale a boxed Electro Harmonix 12AY7 - bought to warm up a sterile digital interface I had a while back. This is excellent for adding tube warmth to recordings - particularly vocals. http://www.ehx.com/p...s/12ay7-mic-pre A number of people on forums have used it for tracking bass guitar with some very pleasing results - have a google. I'm not using it at the moment as my day to day job now gives me full studio access so it's time to move it on. It's immaculate, with original box and paraphernalia - think of it as new. Yours delivered for £100 (thats around a £40 saving on a new one) PM with any questions
4. I'm selling a Vox Tonelab LE (£120) in excellent condition. While my bass stuff expands this is literally gathering dust so PM me with any thoughts or offers - will also consider trades Not the most exciting pictures ever to grace basschat but if your interested i'll get you some more.
5. I just bought one last week and it's fantastic It doesn't do super squashed compression but that's not what i'm after. I've owned a number of compressors - EBS, Aguilar, TC and this is by far my favourite. I've stuck my Markbass Compressore in the sales section as i'll be using the Diamond instead, it's easy to dial in and brings a thickness and warm presence to your tone without making it sound muddy. I'd say the only disadvantage is having to power externally with an 18v adaptor adaptor but its not as bad as the power requirements of the Markbass compressore. Definitely worth a try, it's blown me away and I won't be playing anywhere without it.
6. For sale is my beloved Markbass Compressore. It has been my go to compressor for a long time. Absolutely stunning and up until now I couldn't live without it. However I picked up a Diamond bass compressor at the weekend and it currently suits my needs more than the Markbass as far as size and what I need to achieve compression wise. I'm looking for £125 plus delivery and also have the original box for it. I will also include a dual connector for powering off of a pedal board power supply as well as the original wall power supply. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow but you can find details here - http://www.markbass....tail.php?id=121 http://www.ovnilab.c.../markbass.shtml It is also one of the ovnilab top picks for tube compressors. It is in very good condition and has been safely attached to my Diago Gigman for the last 6 months safely out of harms way. I never turn it off, it's that good!!! I'll be sad to see it go but I just can't justify owning two high end compressors at the moment. PM if you need any details
7. Bought a set of strings from Alain. Arrived quickly with excellent communication and a follow up. A pleasure to deal with. Ryan
8. Bought a super 12 off Dan. Two deals in one week and delivered straight to my door. The man is a legend!!!
9. On hold.................. yes they are very loud on their own.
10. Oh its the bottom one by the way. The top one has a bit of gig rash and it's the one i'm keeping.
11. Barefaced compact for sale in excellent condition. I'm moving on one of my compacts as i've just purchased a Barefaced Super 12 off Dan from the forum and already have a Midget and second Compact. It's an amazing cab, lightweight and loud. I've owned a number of neo cabs including Mark Bass, EBS and Epifani.......only the Epifani was ever comparable in quality. I've been using it with a second Compact for bigger gigs and the pair are exceptional, however the super 12 now means I have a variety of modular rigs with no need for two compacts. It comes with a cover. I'm looking for £400 collected. I'm happy to have it couriered but would ask the buyer to cover cost and insurance. I have had two negative experiences using couriers recently and would certainly suggest any potential buyer might consider a small additional courier charge for insurance. Please don't tempt me with trades as I am weak...................I really need a sale on this to cover the Super 12. Excuse the pictures, it's very difficult to make a bass cab look exciting.
12. Bought an Orange 12AX7 off Russ. Really good price (P and P included) and excellent communication throughout the process. Recommended.
13. Bought a Traynor 300 head from Dan Paid for it Monday evening and he dropped it off personally Tuesday afternoon. I think that speaks for itself!!
14. I was using the XLS 1000 with an Avalon U5 for a bit. A highly recommended piece of kit that is super light and loud (you can bridge into 4ohms as well for an incredible amount of volume)......................... and it has a cool blue light!!
15. Absolutely top man. sent my Modulus to him and he sent a Bolin back in the same packaging............................ you can trust him completely. I think he's sticking a music man up soon. Grab it!!!!!
16. Bought an Aguilar DB750 from Fabrocker. Quick dispatch and excellent packing. Unfortunately it didn't work when it arrived. Took it for servicing and turns out it had been dropped from a great height during shipping. Fabrocker helped me out with the repair costs which I really appreciate. He stayed in contact throughout and was very helpful. A potential disaster saved. Thankyou
17. I can't get on with broader necks. Such a shame it looks like a cracking bass.
18. The Iceni looks great but not sure about the P-bass esque neck
