For Sale Trace Elliot T-Bass Special Edition made in 1998, part of a run of 100, with the following features: Body -Tulip Wood Candy Apple Red Neck -3 Piece Maple and graphite Fingerboard- Rosewood Nut-Graphite 34" scale 24 fret I bought this from Cocco very recently but have a hankering for something else up on the boards at the moment. It has a brand new set of R.Coccos on it and plays perfectly fine but in the spirit of full disclosure it does have the following issues - When it arrived the active preamp was not working - Cocco informed me that this happened in transit so it just needs a look over with a soldering iron. The bass works perfectly fine in passive mode. I have used for a live theatre gig and there were no issues what so ever. The bass has obviously been worked previously so there are some cosmetic dinks, nothing major, but its certainly not straight out of the factory. If it was not for another potential purchase I would certainly be keeping this as it does play great. A lovely example of a super Jazz. Hopefully this is all reflected in the price as i'm asking for £400 delivered in original Trace Elliot Hard case. I have some pictures from the original sale I can e-mail you so PM me your e-mail address if your intereseted. Tomorrow I will post up some proper ones when I get some new pictures.

Bought a darkglass pedal from paul. Got it next day, really easy to deal with a pleasure thanks

Dropped off a MM fender with Status neck on his crazy round trip. Absolute gentleman to deal with, can't recommend him enough.

I've had some questions about this operating in 2012 I found this on shures website - http://The de-regulated licence-free spectrum 863-865MHz remains untouched by DSO. If you are currently operating in this area of spectrum, you are free to carry on using it now and beyond the 2012 DSO. "The de-regulated licence-free spectrum 863-865MHz remains untouched by DSO. If you are currently operating in this area of spectrum, you are free to carry on using it now and beyond the 2012 DSO." The JTS operates on 16 channels between 863.125 mhz 865.000 mhz. so according to Shure this wireless system will not be affected by the digital change over.

Hi Ziggy Yes we did a trade for the Ostinato - it's still my favourite Jazz bass Sound-wise there is everything you can think of from synths to upright and acoustic basses. You can literally dial in whatever you need and it has a massive selection of amp sims and compressors as well as loads of delays, distortions etc. Have a look at the manual on the Roland site and you'll get an idea of how much is in there. Surprisingly I've used it at a number of acoustic shows as an upright emulator and have been approached by a number of people asking how I got such a nice acoustic tone out of an electric bass. PM and i can send you one of the live recordings

Your 78 Jazz must be one in a million - i'm not a massive fan of Fender's output so i mean that literally - Recently got hold of a Big Al off the boards and it's fantastic, versatile and the passive tones are something else. I was sorely tempted myself then realised it would be pointless to own two Big Als as one really does everything you need. .......... ignore the shape of the body in photos nay sayers, in real life they look brilliant and are super compact and light compared to standard musicman fare. Good luck with this.

Thanks gentlemen, much appreciated I'm not desperate for a sale but have recently picked up a cab and pre-amp that i'd like to offset against the VB99 set, i'm a big fan of one in one out due to a partner who finds the acquisition of bass equipment frustrating. I'm quite happy to put on hold to the new year if anyone has an offer or trade, just PM and we can go from there.

I'm well aware of the VB99 being £869 new that doesn't come with a pickup though, unless you can post a link and prove me wrong my apologies I'm offering three working GK3B's as part of the deal Plus the roland floor board which is £300 new and the stand which is £80 new and the bag which to be honest is stupidly expensive new for a bag . All in superb condition. Its not an outrageous price, total it up on Thomaan or Gak or DV27 and see what you get, you'll be unpleasantly surprised at the outcome. So PM me if you don't like the price and we can have a chat. Or offer a trade. I'm always open, check my feedback and if you don't like what i'm offering just give me a shout. I realise I probably started a little high on this price wise (it cost me a lot to put it together) but £900 all in is not completely crazy and as I have stated i'm well up for trades. Ryan
