Earthquaker Audio Devices Cloven Hoof - Fuzz Grinder- SOLD

For sale Earthquaker Audio Devices Cloven Hoof. Great fuzz In good condition. These are no longer in production. Looking for £100 delivered. The Cloven Hoof is the Hoof’s evil twin. It looks a lot like the Hoof, only more, um . . . Cloven. We kept the tightness and clarity you loved about the Hoof, along with the wide range of fuzz sounds, and threw the rest away. NOS Germanium transistors? Nope! In their place, we installed a set of four specially selected Silicon transistors for cleaner cleans, higher gain, improved temperature stability, and a grittier, grindier, nastier fuzz tone with over 4x the gain of the original Hoof. We also replaced key resistors with NOS Carbon Comp components to sprinkle a little bit of vintage flavor into the Cloven Hoof’s searing fuzz fury. It’s like they always say, “In with the old, out with the new.” The Tone and Shift controls remain intact, only now they’re re-voiced for a smoother sweep, and more precise control over the Cloven Hoof’s beefy low-end. Speaking of low-end, have you heard this thing on bass? Wow. Try the Cloven Hoof on a bass guitar. Seriously. Trust us. You can still cut or boost the mids, and there’s still a metric ton of output on tap, just do us a favor, and for the love of all that’s Cloven, play this pedal with a bass guitar.

The SVT - 4 doesn’t. One of the most disappointing amp heads I’ve ever used. Great on paper but lacking in the real world. But agreed a great time to pick up some fantastic amps that have gone out of fashion.

Eden Traveller: £400 - dropped £300 - Dropped £280 Notes from the previous owner "This was originally built in the USA in 1994 as a WT-300, and was returned at a later date to the Eden factory to be upgraded with the PM-400 power section and a larger toroidal transformer (a very common upgrade for the time). It's essentially now a WT-400 in terms of output, and certainly feels like it when plugged into my pair of 8ohm Bergantino cabs- it certainly shifts air if you need it to! These early Eden amps truly sound great- there's loads of EQ if you need it, but if your bass sounds good to start with, you'll barely need to touch it. Since owning it, I've had the head painstakingly overhauled. Every single capacitor on every circuit board has been replaced with top-quality components, and several of the resistors have been substantially upgraded for better reliability and heat-management. The improvements are completed by a brand-new, modern-spec cooling fan, and a Groove Tubes ECC83 now sits on the preamp board. With the new parts fitted, the amp is substantially quieter at idle, with far less background noise than standard, and runs so cool that the fan won't even kick in until you start playing at a decent volume!"
