SOLD My Mark Bass LMK for sale. I have my eye set on something else and with a heavy heart put my LMK up for sale. Brilliant head that has never let me down, now discontinued. If your looking at it you know how good they are. The Good - Works perfectly Comes with an IT travel case - Has wheels and a handle - has been used (a little frayed round the edges) but perfect for carrying the head around Its also a brilliant amp that I might live to regret getting rid of but I need something that will output a little more into two 8ohm cabs. 4 ohm cabs not a problem but i've sold all of those. includes - img stage line footswitch - will toggle two channels and combine both. The Bad- Maybe too loud which has lead to.................. The Ugly - The condition of the amp head is excellent and I have looked really looked after it........... However I used it for a gig with an Epifani UL cab and did not secure it properly. This has lead to some purely cosmetic damage to the base of the unit (scratches in pictures) where the head ended up vibrating across the Epifani handle screw tops.. It does not affect the amp head in any way and it works perfectly.... just scratches on the underside (I was gutted when i discovered it). A number of people have contacted me and asked if this is fully working. It works perfectly and has not been dropped or abused. If I were trying to palm it off I would have not bothered to take pictures of the bottom of the head. You can see from the scratches in the paint its where the amp head has vibrated across the two screws that secure an Epifani UL 1 x 12 cab. The manufacture date is December 2005 and it was bought new from the Bass Centre. No previous owners. Take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself but as far as tone and portability and condition this is a fantastic piece of equipment that needs a good home. As always welcome to come and try and i'll also courier for you. feel free to PM me and i'll cover any offers or questions. Ta

F/T: Status Stealth Headed 4 string SOLD
ryancowell25 replied to ryancowell25's topic in Basses For Sale
Just PM HarlowBass player He's a good lad whose got a genuine interest in all things bass and is just starting out. However please don't mention the Mike Dirnt "used by a teenager custom job" again on the forum. Tis a most desirable and nicotine/food/bodily fluid encrusted objet d'ar. Word has it that he also has my old Squire precision from the mid 90's which he has customised. What's the catch? Well he has soaked the bridge in a mixture of Mark King's memories and Tony Levin's tears in order to give it that real old school/new school/hi-fi/lo-fi/Jaco/Entwistle/Bruce sound. The strings are now entirely Graphite. The neck has been replaced with gold, the frets are all hand made from Zebrano.......... Sting has travelled back in time and signed it retrospectively from the year 2024!! Of course the body...................... is made of the dreams of a unicorn!!! Every bass has it's down sides and unfortunately the active Eq was designed from original manuscripts from the 17th century and the pickups are powered purely by human desire. I for one prefer the post 18th century 48 v split that had the Douglas Brown patented "blunderbuss" active circuit. "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM" That's the sound of Douglas. Its likely to close down the Bass Chat server if word gets around that its available. ......... so hush. You heard it here first ladies and gentleman. Seriously focus on the Stealth kids All offers still welcome -
F/T: Status Stealth Headed 4 string SOLD
ryancowell25 replied to ryancowell25's topic in Basses For Sale
My favourite student (Harlow Bass Player) couldn't afford it unfortunately and although he has kindly offered me a trade for his personally relic'd Mike Dirnt Signature Fender (scratches, filth, dents and all - seriously if you want your bass to look like its been gigging round North America for 50 years give it to him for a week- the Fender custom shop can't even approach the sheer relicing power of the average teenage musician ) I will unfortunately have to decline this time round. I was close to a really nice trade on this but hasn't worked out. Offers still accepted (I will add cash for something nice). .............oh and as for you Harlow Bass player - stay off my trade thread or i'll be forced to make you learn all of Level 42's greatest hits when I see you on Tuesday You have been warned!!!! -

edit - £850 . All offers now welcome. edit - Updated the photos on this as I realised they were too blurry. Also put new lighter guage strings on the bass but the Maxima Golds will come with it as well. I've recently acquired a Status B2 so my Stealth has sadly become a little redundant. The bass is in excellent condition and is just not getting used any more. For the right trade I can also consider throwing in the Hip Shot D tuner I have installed on it. The bass also has its own Status Hard Case. Open to any trade offers really just PM me if your interested. 4's and 5's both considered. I'll genuinely consider anything may be even a different flavoured Status. I can also add cash if your offering something that's worth a little more than the Stealth. Also have a Mark Bass LMK that I can throw in again for the right trade Everything is negotiable. If you want some more information about the bass you can read a review and check out the specs here: http://www.statii.com/status_cats/reviews/33/index.html http://statii.com/status_cats/catalogues/3...atus_page05.jpg http://statii.com/status_cats/catalogues/7/page3.jpg Pics are linked below.

Hi Looking for something a bit different so I have three of my bass cabs up for trade. ideally looking for something from the Barefaced line (Compact, Midget etc.) but open to anything light weight you might have. Willing to trade them in any combination you like or by themselves. I can provide more photos on request. All cabs are in very good condition. The 4 x 10 hasn't been used to gig for ages as the 1 x10 and 1 x 12 together are more than enough so seems a waste to sit doing nothing. Markbass STD 104HF 4 x10 800w 8ohms was £550 now £500 (ON HOLD) http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo145/r...bs/IMG_0289.jpg Epifani UL Series 2 1 x 12 300w 8 ohms £275 (with cover) (SOLD) http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo145/r...bs/IMG_0285.jpg EBS Neoline Pro 1 x 10 8 ohms £250 (ON HOLD) Message me if your interested. ryancowell25 replied to ryancowell25's topic in Basses For Sale
Will post some clearer pictures this evening for those who believe this is a fake (thanks guys) Was originally bought used from a reputable bass dealer in London (Bass Centre) I have a copy of the receipt which I can also post if that clarifies things. Have also made it quite clear that anyone who is interested is welcome to come and try the bass to verify its quality. To reiterate I'm in the Herts/Essex area. Thanks -

Yamaha TRB 6 string (Japan) Serial number is :5011047 Pictures of it are at the link below - http://s370.photobucket.com/albums/oo145/ryancowell25/ New pictures can be found here (24/11/09) http://s370.photobucket.com/albums/oo145/r...20Japan%20Pics/ This has been sitting around for a while doing nothing and I think it might be time to move it on. I've personally had problems identifying its age but a fellow bass chatter informed me it's a TRB prototype and therefore a bit unusual. It does have a bolt on neck but a body like the TRB thru neck. There is no Yamaha logo on the headstock but Yamaha is printed on the Tuners along with Japan. Made in Japan is also etched into the back of the headstock along with the serial number The only thing that seems to be not original is the volume control. Active, two trust rods. As you can see from the new pics it does have Bartolini electronics. This was bought used from the Bass Centre a few years back in July 2005 (from their shop near Liverpool Street post Wapping where they used to have the monopoly on bored and stroppy salesmen, those were the days!) and has been used for one gig since. The rest of the time i've had it at home for recording. Apparently the guy that had it before me used it once week a week for midweek Jazz sessions, and the condition of the instrument would suggest very light use . I've included pictures of the receipt. As you can see compared to what I payed for it used (this was also a discounted sale) I think the asking price is reasonable. The quality and set up are excellent (in hoyse Bass Centre) and there are no issues with it. I'm really interested in trades, ideally a 4 or 5 string as. I do gravitate towards Warwicks but quite literally anything considered at the moment as it seems a waste that this bass is sitting doing nothing. Money offers also welcome. Would also be willing to add money myself for a trade for the right bass. Now looking for around the £650 mark I'm in the Herts, Essex area if anyone wants to come over and have a try. Feel free to PM with any queries, offers etc. etc. Ta Ryan

Hi all Having a terrible job of dating my Yamaha bass guitar. Its a a 6 string I bought it used about 4 years ago from a reputable London Bass Guitar dealer. Serial number is :5011047 Pictures of it are at the link below http://s370.photobucket.com/albums/oo145/ryancowell25/ I'm even having problems identifying the model (TRB or TRB II). It doesn't seem to look exactly like others i've looked at on the internet (Bridge etc.). It has a bolt on neck. There is no Yamaha logo on the headstock but Yamaha is printed on the Tuners along with Japan Made in Japan is also etched into the back of the headstock along with the serial number The only thing that seems to be not original is the volume control I've been searching forums and looking for serial numbers for ages and its driving me mad any help from forum users would be much appreciated Thanks
