Hi Folks
Fully functioning generally good condition neck-through headless bass. All maple construction.
EMG select jazz pickups, 2band active eq, operates passive too (no dead battery misery!)
The only issue this bass has is that the relief in the neck only adjusts so far, then stops. With 45-100 strings on this means there is
just under 1mm relief in the middle of the board when fretted at 1 and 24. It Plays fine with no rattles.
The neck is stable, narrow width but reasonably deep by a lot of modern bass standards (round C-shape), string spacing 10mm nut, 18mm bridge.
There are also photos of scratches along the fingerboard (repair?) by the first 2 frets.
These can't be felt when playing.
I own 3 of these, and one has been my sole gigging bass since '91, not let me down once, and never even broken a string.
This was bought as a twin to the one I defretted, but I've not really used it since I got it, and now have a SEI...
The sound is quite organic, woody, though the eq can dial in nice cutting top and dubby bass.
Any takers?
Cheers
Jules
hey jules

the ibanez is one of the TRB3BU in black and works great with all the oringal parts with usa pick ups make in japan 1992(http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1992/tr_2.jpg)
reason for selling is i have no more room in my house for this lovely bass and it hardly get played
the all access neck joint which allows effortless playability in all ranges this model also features a thin yet super strong maple neck and a die cast bridge the basswood TRB3 has the added punch and unlimited sound possibilities of our american designed AFR(ACIVE FULL RANGE) pick ups with an 2 band active eq -
This is just a feeler so i'm looking to know what people think this is worth, hence i'm not going to state a guessed price which may rip people off or be way under market value.
the parts are a stainless steel scratchplate, standard controls, badass 2 bridge, dimarzio ultrajazz pickups,
maybe make me an offer for loaded and unloaded so i can decide whether to split or sell as one.
i hope that makes a bit more sense!
offers/valuations? seen anything similar? also any ideas what that colour is called?
cheers,
rich

I bought this new about a year ago just to dabble whenever I felt the need. Decent condition, but maybe could do with a little clean and a new set of strings. Other than that, it's in full working condition, no dodgy electrics etc. Nice for a little noodle every now and again.
Including the South Park strap and a dust cover asking for £50 collected or will deliver around the NW for a bottle of coke. Cash on collection strongly preferred although happy to accept PayPal if you really want.
