RARE COMPETITION STRIPE FENDER USA P BASS
harlowbassplayer replied to CHARLIE-BROWNE's topic in Basses For Sale
Hi all I traded an electric for a 2001 USA Fender P bass with competition stripe some time ago but realised that a P Bass is a bit chunky for my female teeny mitts - I am also advised by your knowledgable bass-chatters that it is quite a rare thing (any further info gratefully received); condition wise its really good - there are a few dark marks here and there on the body which may be contact marks or at worse case finish imprefections but really nothing to get too exctited about unless you are looking for a mint piece So on the sad basis that it is not sensible to just keep £s tied up in guitars I have no prospect of playing I am sending out this feeler as to anyone that may be interested in buying and possible sensible values - I was thinking around £650 - I may consider a trade for a jazz type bass with blocks and ideally a white body but will consider what you have ! Think this is a great forum and there is a whole lot of knowledge in the combined brain power of the members so over to you all! cheers
i honestly think i am in love <3 i give you anything you want i even kill someone . -
Hello my friends. I am a drummer who has just acquired some quality basses, and as they are of no use to me, i will be selling them. They are: 1) A fretless Wal MK3 2) Two Jaydee 24 GA series 3) A Musicman Stingray Ernie Ball 5 4)A Jimmy Egypt 5) A hohner "The Jack". Thanks.
i take the jack for 100

the condition is near mint cleaned and polish once a week new strings Ernie balls plus it stays in a hardcase when not used 4 string P-Bass. Maple neck, Maple Fingerboard. Volume Knob only, no Tone Knob. the Duncan Design pick-ups are actually rather nice and toneful. nice p-bass mid thump with a hint of growl The bottom line, gorgeous bass, wonderful playability £155 i couldn't take a photo lost the cam
Corona series Jazzes came with one piece pick guards in the late 90s. They were made from US parts, shipped to Mexico for finishing when Fender had to retool to comply with new emissions laws.
so it could have US parts on this bass
-
yeah pretty much but i was goin to put stacked pot in it for a 62 relic
