  1. Nice bass. The overall quality of these wooden necked Status instruments is superb-they also have graphite rods in the neck for extra stability. Glwts.
  2. Bass is now sold. Many thanks to all for the interest.
  3. And replied 😄 I'll try and get a definite weight later...all I can say is that it's really well balanced when you stand up,and doesn't feel overly "big."It's a Series 2 Roadie body, slightly smaller than the original MK bass.
  4. Hi all, For sale/trade is my Jaydee Roadie Active,in the white finish. In terms of trade,I'd be interested in a 4 string Status Series 2 or 2000 headless, with cash your way. Cheers for looking. Now sold-many thanks.
  5. Agree, they're ridiculously good value. The stock bass is totally giggable if you don't mind spending a bit of time setting it up,and the alder body alone is worth the asking price imho. All sold now fellas, thanks to all for the interest. Steve.
  6. Hi Apologies for the late replies... I make the heel width 65mm. With regards to the profile-I'd agree that it's certainly wider than a jazz bass...or at least any jazz I've ever played or owned...certainly closer to a "p." All saying,it's a nice neck...certainly wouldn't have any issues with gigging it if I had too. Cheers Steve.
  7. Hi folks, Upfor sale here is the maple neck, plate and electrics from my recently purchased surf green J and D "Jazz" bass. I originally bought the bass entirely with the purpose of modding,so there's parts have barely seen any use. The maple neck is of good quality-the fret ends have been professionally filed, and it plays nice. The Jazz pickups have a decent output, and everything works as it should electrically. Want to sell them as a job lot if poss.No probs with posting,as long as we can work something out...:-) Thanks for looking. NOW SOLD THANKS
  8. This is a bargain.Someone get it bought before I do something stupid!😄
  9. if I'm not very much mistaken that's my old bass...think MB1 may know something about this too...:-) It's an early 90s Series One.Nice bass to play. Got a different case than when I had it! Good luck with the sale.
  10. Lovely bass. I have an early 80s Roadie active and just its a beautiful player....John Diggins is indeed a master craftsman. Would love to see up and coming bands playing these on tv again!
  11. Bargain.Have a bump :-)
  12. Oof!I had a Streamline,lovely instrument...that one looks like the don!
  13. Bass is now sold. Thanks to all for the interest.
  14. Thanks for the comments,three...and bump!
  15. Hi folks, Up for sale here is my 2008 Status Streamline with the custom "woven chrome" top-similar to the finish on the Mark King "Retroglide" basses. Its an all one-piece carbon graphite construction and despite its small size sounds HUGE. The bass also has the satin finish on the neck, and is in excellent condition-there are a few small surface scratches on the back which don't seem to show up in the pics, but other than that,it's pretty much spot on. I'm letting it go due to going "down" to three basses now....if money also wasn't an issue I'd be keeping it,as it's just lovely to play and as you can imagine is incredibly convenient for transporting. Also comes with a Ritter gig bag. I'm based in Manchester.
  16. Ooh...if only this was headless...
