1. Pretty cool, nice to hear some other young ska bands, liking the woahs.
2.
If these pics are anything to go by then this bass was sold to Moos3h who in turn sold it to me. Unless there are 2 Squier fretless VM fretless Jazz basses with tort guards and black knobs doing the rounds mine isn't for sale
Aww man, thanks for letting me know. I shall continue my search.
3.
We're in the studio with a 'name' producer over the next few months recording an albums worth of material. Said producer chap has come up with the idea of us putting it out on vinyl. A lot of our likely audience are in the same age bracket as us and will still be vinyl junkies who like tangible music. This makes sense and apparently the new Paul Weller LP has sold really well on vinyl too. Anybody done this. What sort of cost were you looking at all in? I will obviously do my own research but a head start will help.
Hey, I looked this up last summer because my band was thinking of putting out a 7" record. The two best sites I found we're http://www.quickpress.co.uk/ who were cheaper for what I wanted and http://www.agrm.co.uk/ who we're really helpful when I emailed them but quite a bit more expensive. The main thing that I noticed was that the initial costs for the metal work etc was the most expensive bit but getting 1000's of records after is quite cheap. Being a small band of teenagers we couldn't afford many and didn't want to buy too many just incase we can't sell them. In the end because it would of cost around £4 per 7" after delivery for £100 we decided against it for now.
4. Yeah, I've tryed a few local shops and put some ads up, no luck though.
5. Ebay soon me thinks, would much rather sell to someone on here though.
6.
If they want another one, Ive got one that I can see me having as much trouble getting rid of as you.
They got back to me saying they didn't want it
7. I haven't researched this myself but I am quite interested if anyone has any info on this too.
8. Bump, Just emailed my local shop about buying this off me so might be gone soon.
9. Bump. Going up on ebay in the next few weeks if it doesn't go.
10. Would you be interested in selling it?
11.
My goodness, has this not been on ebay yet? I had one of these as my second bass, about 2 years ago i think and when i sold it i think i got around £150 for it and that was after all the ebay and paypal fees BS. Id definatly try it if i were you!!!
Hmm I might put it up there soon thinking about it. Cheers for the advice.
12. Still can't get hold of a camera to get any better pictures for anybody sorry. Still up for grabs though. I would be interested in a part exchange for a Badass 2 bridge, seymour duncan quarter pounder jazz pick ups or possibly a delay pedal.
13. I haven't had any access to a camera or the bass as I've been living away at uni, I will try and get some this weekend though. Is it just a picture of the whole thing you want?
14. Bump. Need to get rid of this now so I can afford to eat and the like.
15.
I am! Still dont want a BC Rich though.
16. Sounds pretty good to me, I think you sing better than me and I sing live for parts of our band's set. I think it would be easyer to give you critisisms if it was just you singing and nothing else (no bass or backing song). I hate singing while not playing myself so I'd find it hard. You do seem to stay in tune well though. I think the key is just practice, I've improved a fair amount lately just from singing along with songs. I'd suggest giving a few more a go, ones I find fun to sing and play which aren't too hard and of a similar style are: NOFX - Stickin in my eye, Bob and mabye Seperation of church and skate. Screeching weasel - Hey suburbia Bouncing souls - Manthem Jawbreaker - Boxcar If your interested in singing and playing ska stuff I'd start with the verses of Leftover crack - Gang control or Big D and the kids table - Wailing paddle as they're not too tricky.
17. Sold my MXR blowtorch to dave and everything was dealt with easily and with great communication. Would recommend 100%
18. Bump. still up for grabs.
19. Sold to bottomfeed.
20. I'm in cardiff, and I'd prefer £80 posted really.
21. I bought this pedal from a user on here a few months ago but I just don't get on with it a great deal and I'm looking to fund a valve pre-amp. It's in good condition, has 2 small marks on one of the sides but nothing major at all. Comes with the 18V adaptor and the original box. Post here or PM if you're interested
