**Price drop to £315 for quicker sale** For sale my Warwick Rockbass Corvette Been a real workhorse for me through gigging - but i'm more of a passive bass man so picked up a BB1025 and well kinda want another one so this has to go (and some other bits) Paid 650 for is when i bought it 2nd hand - have since had it professionally set up - but then i gigged it for a while so could probably use another but plays great looks great and on the plus side (on the off chance you're put off by the ROCKBASS stamp on your Warwick) this one hasn't got RockBass stamped on the headstock Collection Basingstoke as i have nothing to ship it in (honestly have no idea about shipping either so pickup is about the only option) - i do have a gigbag laying around i'll chuck in with it too Price is firm I do have a little practice amp at home (Thomann cheapo special) but it'll do the job should you want to try it out now for the usual questions Weight - dunno i'll dig my bathroom scales out tomorrow Scale - Bass length (so ermmm yeah that long - someone tell me how to measure it i will - but i'm 6ft2" and it feels good to me so the right scale :D) Strings are not the newest so could use a new set - i'll see if i have a spare set laying around - but we're bass players honestly how often do we change strings? Any other questions hollar. Thanks for looking Big JHW

For sale 1 x Fly Rig V5 Used for lite gigging but 100% working order With box/booklet thing and power cable (will ensure any guitarist sweat has been removed before posting/collection) Collection preferable from Basingstoke but Postage is an option - I will ensue it's well packaged Tech specs here - https://www.tech21nyc.com/products/flyrig/flyrig5/ The Blurb stuff The original Fly Rig, introduced in 2014, was a true game-changer for players in all categories, from touring pros to bedroom hobbyists. At a time when pedalboards were expanding and backs were breaking, the innovative Fly Rig enabled players to slim down without sacrificing great tone, and travel without fear of baggage surcharges and dreaded mystery backlines. Going beyond being just a multi-effects unit, the all-analog SansAmp technology enables any Tech 21 Fly Rig to be an actual “rig.” You can run directly into mixers of recording desks and PA systems, as well as augment your existing amplifier set-up. Always seeking to improve our offerings and listening to customer feedback, we’ve incorporated some new features to follow the same form factor as later Fly Rigs, such as the Bass, Acoustic, and Paul Landers Signature PL1. The Fly Rig 5 v2 retains the same SansAmp heart, Plexi/Cali distortion and Delay, but adds a few twists and turns within these sections. New features include an independent reverb with choice of room size, an effect loop, a tuner, and an XLR Output. SANSAMP Has the tonality of the Blonde Character Series pedal. It includes 3-band active EQ, Level and Drive controls. To dirty things up, you have the flexibility of using the Drive control, the Boost function, or you can add grit from the Plexi/Cali section. Or all three. Each method achieves different tones. PLEXI / CALI Provides the dirtier side of the Fly Rig. You have a choice of a roaring Plexi tone with its muscular crunch, detailed mids and mule-kick low end or the chunk of a ‘70s high gain amp tone inspired by the then-boutique shop over on the West Coast. Each mode can be dialed in to your liking with dedicated Drive, Tone and Level controls. BOOST Switchable Pre/Post Boost up to approx 12dB to beef up drive and distortion or increase the overall volume to punch up fills and solos. DELAY WITH TAP TEMPO Voiced for the sounds of a vintage tape echo, with Time and Repeats controls. The Delay includes a switch to change from 1/4-notes to dotted 8ths. A Drift button adds a random, unpredictable element to the modulation in keeping with its vintage roots. REVERB Independent footswitchable reverb with choice of large and small “room sizes.” EFFECT LOOP Post-SansAmp, pre-effects to patch in external effect pedals. TUNER Chromatic Tuner, operable via the BLONDE/TUNER footswitch. You simply hold the footswitch down to engage, which simultaneously mutes the signal path. 1/4-inch 1megOhm input XLR output with ground lift 1/4-inch low impedance output Rugged, all-metal housing Metal footswitches and jacks Silent-switching, custom footswitch actuators Measures 12.5”l x 2.5”w x 1.25”h Weight: 20.7 oz. Utilizes included 9V DC Universal Power Supply: Model #DC9.

literally yesterday i was just saying if i buy another bass it needs to be a 5 string jazz i did NOT say it had to be fender - so this is super tempting (also just put Sire on the radar as an option that i hadn't considered) shame you're about a million miles away (well clearly not a million but FAR) GLWTS

Bought a strap from Graham arrived today - possibly the best packaging i've ever seen on a 2nd hand item (think he spent the entire sale price on packing tape) for "reasons" this strap has made me super happy 100% condition as pictured will certainly buy from him again

i'm still in but - if the wife buys me a bass does that count? (she said she might)
-
never heard of a string twisting before - but checking over it, it all looks good n groovy wasn't 100% considering a pickup change - just curious to know if ppl had ever done it and what they'd changed too.

BB Bass lovers i have a question (shocking huh) so i love my BB1025 - it's become my main gigging bass which is awesome but.... i do find that the G string rings through a bit on the quiet side i've tried raising the pickup height a little and changed the strings it came with to a set of EB Regular Slinky 45-130's (dunno why i just like these strings) - but it's still pretty weak sounding on the G string. Anyone have a clue what might be the issue? No before you ask i have not sent it in for a setup/service since getting it and yess..... i'm aware that'll probably solve the issue - but i was hoping it was something i could resolve myself before resorting to "finding a man that knows" at some sort of cost. on a different yet somehow related topic - has anyone ever changed the pickups in their BB 5 string (P/J setup) - any recommendations? ta low enders

Sorry was the LD Systems U308 i was looking at (a little cheaper than the 508) Front of the unit has a Stereo/Mono switch Receiver just seem to have channel select buttons + Volume
-
Awesome - i think that means this will work then - it's the LD Systems U508 IEM - so in theory i can just smash the single XLR in to the left or right channel (i'd prob put it in the wrong hole - sorry not sorry) and i'd be good to go yes? thanks for the help
-
Sorry to jump on this also but i have KZ 10's and have the same issue as the OP there - constantly having to push em back in mid gig regardless of which "supplied" tip i use. Can anyone recommend replacements that stay put better? ta
