The bass playing always takes a bit of a back seat when you're concentrating on lead vocals. But it's fun to sing lead. I do backing vocals on pretty much every track now but lead vocals are defo more difficult.

The drummer in my last band who turned every other gig down.....then moaned when we split the band up as he wanted to get out and gig more. I ask you.

I know there are some Cubase experts on here, so I hope you can help. I'm trying to mix some voice tracks with music which I'm importing in as .wav and .mp3 files. But Cubase is applying a tempo to the voice track and slowing it down. I've tried switching the tempo to fixed but it seems to make now difference. Aaagh! Anyone know how to stop it slowing my files down please?

A sports bag. Use the main bit for leads, pedals, gaffer, strings etc and the end pocket for loose items. Takes up less space than a box and means I can wedge it in the last bit of space left in the car!

Very funny. You won't forget that gig in a hurry. Tell the papers if you haven't already. The tabs would love that.
