  1. Interesting - did not know that! I wonder how the signature strings will differ from these.
  2. Saw this pop up on Instagram yesterday. Ernie Ball are bringing out some Pino Palladino signature flats. Interesting as the flats I associate with Pino are TIs, which his signature Fender P comes with. I have them on all my basses and they are nicely worn in, so I might be forced to buy a new bass to put these new Ernie Ball ones on 😉
  3. The 2011 MIC CV 60s P Bass in fiesta red I had had a lovely neck. Online I can see the nut width listed as 42mm, but I remember the neck felt slim and very easy to play. One I wish I hadn't sold!
  4. There is something beautiful about an unlined fretless maple board.
  5. Magnus bought a bass and case from me. He was great at communicating throughout and it was good to have a brief chat in person too when he came to collect. Highly recommended.
  6. Back up for sale! My long scale basses are getting all the action and I don't like to keep nice instruments around unplayed.
  7. Yes, it's usually the darker/browner variety with a rosewood board in a Pino style that comes to mind when I think of a tort/fiesta red combination, but this redder version complements the fiesta red and maple very nicely here. So much so I'm considered getting one myself. Someone will get a handsome bass! Funnily enough I also paid £625 for mine. A decent price imho 👍🏻
  8. Very nice! My #1 is the same model, also with TI Flats. I have the stock gold pickguard on mine though. Really like the look of the tortoiseshell on yours! GLWTS
  9. Just had this out to take some more pictures, had a bit of a play and yeah... I'm not selling this. 🤣 Withdrawn!
