Selling this highly rated compressor bought from ebay earlier this year. It is in good condition. The previous owner had it in his studio and I've only used it at home. Selling as I've recently bought a Keeley and I don't need two bass comps! Reduced to £80 plus free postage. The ovnilab website has the pedal as one of its top picks. Its secret sauce is described as follows: "The Low setting of the blend has an effect similar to the bass expansion/emphasis settings on many rack comps, which use a sidechain to reduce the amount that the detection circuit reacts to low frequencies. In this case however it is not a sidechain process, but an emphasis of the bass volume on the clean channel. While that does sound good, I actually prefer the Mid setting. Versatile hand made pedal from [sfx], capable of a range of tones from boost to fat and creamy overdrive. This is the version with the mids toggle control. Velcro on base. Recent purchase from Basschat, but just bought a new amp so need to recoup some funds! Asking just the £50 I paid, plus postage if needed.

Bass Player review

Bass only, as far as I'm aware. Though they're not exclusively used by bass guitarists - the upright player Kelly Oja uses one too. (See the attached pic from Bass Player magazine.)

Selling this small, light, but surprisingly loud cabinet. Imported from New Zealand 18 months ago and not otherwise available to buy new in the UK as far as I'm aware. It is advertised as a 200w cab, but I was directly advised by Stonefield that it is suitable for pairing with any 200 or 250w head. I've used it with the TC BQ250 (which is what Stonefield use when exhibiting), the Ashdown Ant (pictured with below to illustrate scale, and Trace Elliot Elf. Good for practice, rehearsal, and small indoor gigs. Thanks - did you find it worked well with them? What range of tones did you get with that combination? I'm mainly into the light to medium grit/always-on tubey drive end of the spectrum but interested to find out how versatile the pedal can be with flatwounds. Cheers 👍🏻
