  1. Apologies I’ve never dealt with them, just thought I’d say it’s gone midnight over here so you may not get to many answers until tomorrow. I’m sure someone will be along though to answer this and welcome
  2. Best to keep the modulation pedals in the fx loop as they’re not boosts and when you want to add reverb chorus or delay to your sound you want that untouched by the colour you add through your EQ. Although there’s nothing wrong with doing that and many do.
  3. I purchased the Mk1 off the gentleman above you @Jason Karloff this year. It’s a fine bass and I couldn’t keep my hands off it. when my fretless skills come somewhere close to allow me to play any style as comfortably as I play fretted I shall change it back. The Pro is 1982 and the Mk1 is 1983

    Hi

Greetings and I agree with the Ampeg 🍻
  5. I love a good neck swap but do take heed of a cautionary tale of lost time 😂🤣 I’m an rather pleased with the results though as I’m sure you will be 🍻
  6. You’d then have a huge piece of wood stuck above your head and hit every doorway or possibly lamp post you walked under 😜
  7. In hell I’ll be in good company - the dead south
  8. Are ‘friends’ electric - Tubeway Army
  9. I recently purchased a MIM fender flea roadworn for the reviews it got on the playability and tone from the vintage pickups. I immediately changed the signed back plate for a fender ‘F’ plate and tomorrow I will be putting a Bad A$$ II bridge on it. I like RHCP and fleas a beast but I didn’t buy it because it had his name on. Do kind of like the pink roadworn though.
  10. Listen to the man he knows a good rig when he sees one
  11. The effects loop inserts after the preamp and before the power section, unless you have a level on your distortion you will find you can overdrive the amp and get a big volume boost. (It’s not controlled by the amp drive and volume) Modulation usually goes into the Fx loop. Most fx loops are line level not instrument level and if the pedals not designed for it it can make it sound completely different.
  12. Time to get my Mesa ‘Thunder’ stack up for sale methinks 😄
  13. Found this mix and really enjoyed it today
  14. Isn’t that known as a ‘half guitar’ in the business 😜
