  1. Welcome, and enjoy driving around the UK to pick up gear… (is that just me 🤔)

Purchased a Greenboy Fearless F112 from Paul. Beautiful sounding cab in mint condition. Paul was a pleasure to deal with, met up at the services (as you do) Lovely guy, great transaction cheers 🍻
  3. Purchased a KMA Tyler Deluxe off Nigel. Pedals in mint condition and well packed up. cheers 🍻
  4. I’ve posted on the wanted ads more than a few times and only a couple have proved fruitless. Maybe try there.
  5. Mesa boogie all tube eight 88 goes down to 2ohms and also has a power switch on the front to cut out certain valves so you can drop the power from approx 475w to 250w to 100w when you drop the power to half to keep the punch you plug an 8 ohm cab into the 4ohm output and so on. Also at 49lbs it’s a lot lighter than my SVT pros. The power switch is ideal for different venue sizes and home playing. The issue is finding one available.
  6. If it’s not on a goodly amount then it’s not needed
  7. I liked the Ida Nielsen download best but there were a lot of good choices to be had for sure, glad it’s worked for you. You can’t get an easier pedal to use once the TonePrint is set
  8. I usually work on my bass on a bed and use a pillow 👍🏻
  9. Myself and three friends were once “recognised” at a large venue gig in London by a couple of guys, quite soon a large crowd had gathered for autographs on their programmes. I’m still not sure what band they thought we were from but I signed someone else’s name for a goodly while before we managed to escape…
  10. I love Dennis bovells style, he’s done so much with so many people.
  11. You know I love a bit of dub 🍻
  12. Was reminded of this In The song title thread so deserves a play, great album too
  13. Emulates the feel of playing over a pickup or fretboard and keeps the touch light. A lot of players use the pickups as a thumb rest which can limit the positions they play, the ramp is like an extended thumb rest too.
  14. It does what it says on the tin in the simplest way (one knob) I prefer the control I have on a manual compressor but there are some good downloads for it. Your other option maybe a Thumpinator
  15. Go to one rehearsal get someone to take a photo of the singer with you in the background. Frame and put on wall. job done!
