It’s actually the flea bass he wants, I have one and they play and sound beautiful with pure vintage 64 pickups and stacked knobs which give tone and volume to each pick up individually. Neck feels great too it’s a C profile They only come in “nipple pink” though

£6.50 from Amazon I use it on the nut slots for the E string with my dtuners but a bit in the machine heads won’t hurt either. Be careful not to use anything that can run into the peg holes and cause the wood to swell. good for locks too 😄

I really like the stacked knobs, I might take the spring washers out though, Being used to a tone and volume on the cutlass it’s nice to still have the same for each pickup on the Jazz I’m also finding it strangely pleasant it’s road worn, it feels comfortable and familiar and no reason to be precious with it, what’s another ding or mark going to do? 🤣😂

I just purchased a fender flea road worn. I wanted a vintage jazz sound and all the forums pointed to the pickups on this as being that. Never played a jazz before and never entertained the idea of a MiM but I have to say it’s top notch and sounds sublime .
