  1. He’s lucky he got on camera at all given the usual interest in the bass player 😄 Wasn’t keen on it at all though
  2. Purchased an MXR pedal off Colin, quick turn around and great condition. cheers 🍻
  3. The 3leaf is well worth the search, I’ve tried a few different brands but I love dialling in just a touch of octave with the Tim switch, I find the 3 leaf does this most subtly almost like a compression, you know somethings happening but it’s not obvious. You can of course go full bore and the sub is just beastly
  4. Bag end, not the lightest and not all about the low end, but punchy more mid based and definitely the most musical cabs I’ve used. The 212 is phenomenal. the 115 2 stack was the holy grail at one point.
  5. Musicman Cutlass: volume up full tone rolled off a touch about 20% Musicman stingray: volume up full treble up full mids flat bass full Modulus: volume full treble rolled off around 1/4 bass rolled off 1/4 Wal: volume up full pick attack off B: 0 pulled T: 8 down BT: 1.5-2 toward B
  6. Well, next time I offer you £500 for a bass you really should consider the stress I’d save you… 🤣😂
  7. Sounds like it would have been cheaper for him to book a flight and collect it 🤣😂
  8. Don’t start whipping up interest in rack mount pre’s you’ll let the secret out and the price will rise 🤣😂
  9. I looked into qsc myself with an SWR IOD (.775v) only way I found around it from searches was have the qsc modified or put a Rane eq in between them

    Welcome and enjoy 😊
  11. These things normally got snapped up fast…
  12. And waste the best “birthday present” she’s ever had? You should have been quicker and told her you had a buyer at work then wrapped it up and watched her face as you presented it back to her with the “I know how much you hated selling it” Or you could have just paid for her car 🤣😂
  13. As with anything you buy it’s all relative to what you can afford. I like fine quality and appreciate the work that’s gone into a well built bass. Plus buying used usually means you won’t lose anything if you do decide to move it on at a later date.
  14. And that’s why we have a “modest” collection of basses to cater for every whim and situation…
