If you could have the chance to work with another musician or composer of your choice from any era/age/genre/instrument who would it be and why? Mine would be Steve Wilson who’s written and played on so many tracks, in multiple bands and as a solo artist. Probably best known for the band Porcupine tree though. His style of writing and use of lyrics has always fascinated me.

Being serious that growl can be achieved by altering the action/neck it’s a knife edge between that rasp and full fret-buzz. Just got to play around with it. The tone I can get from my stingray bass’ by rolling off the tone a bit and using more flesh with the fingers on the right hand toward the bridge. Play a little lighter with the left hand and slide into them notes.

Sounds just like my set up but it’s a secret…
