2.
sorry for the delay in reply, Rob - I'm in the middle of moving house ! I can look into courieringlater this week if you're still interested (but as I have no transport getting the thing to a post office could be difficult)
Thanks or getting back to me but I'm sorted now. Good luck with the sale
3.
I have old strings a plenty lying around if they're any use. PM me if you want them. And fair play to you for being a good mate.
+1 Could offer old strings but I'm afraid that's about it. You sound like a great friend to have in times of need. I know its been said before but Basschat really can act as a community of lovely people. Well done all for your generosity.

SOLD
No it's fine, I live in a shared house and I have the box room, I am just cutting back on items I do not use, I already have a Schroeder 410 so one had to go and at the moment the 410 is being used, I honestly would keep it if I had the space.
ah fair enough. I'm trying to justify this to myself but I don't think I can I'm afraid. Good luck with the sale

SOLD

do you mind me asking why you're selling this? Please feel free to tell me to mind my own!
8. little bump for a nice bit of gear. I use one for rehearsals and little gigs, it can keep up with a medium rock drummer and has DI out on the head for PA support. Just auditioning extension cabs for mine. Edit: looking at the picture in the original post, this might be a slightly different model to mine different grill and input meter.
9. humm, tricky one. I guess it depends on the genre, the gig and how convincing the performer is? When on stage (to be fair its been a little over a year), I get very self conscious and struggle to perform (other than playing the music)
10. I reckon there are probably pluses and minuses to both. If you're versatile you'll find it hard to get bored (as has already been pointed to by Doddy) with what you do because you can always move on and do something else. On the other hand if you have a strong style that's unique or interesting in some way you might feel that there's something very personal about that sound/stlye which can also be a great feeling. At the moment I'm trying to work on being more versatile (hence joining a funk/pop/soul covers band) because I love playing different styles to my usual rock/punk styles but I do love doing my thing too!
11. Last gigging band I was in we all got a bit of attention at one time or another. During the whole time the band was together, every member had serious partners of their own so nothing ever happened as far as I'm aware. I seem to mostly attract unattractive people from both genders.... humm....
12. Sorry to not be able to contribute any advice, but I really like the shape of the body and the neck looks really nice too.
13. my other half drying her hair. Grr far too early for noise like that.
14. didn't realise until it was just brought up (had to go and try it out) but there is a little lag between patch changes on the Floor Pod. Fine if you only use one patch per song but potentially a problem if you need to switch very quickly live. Having said that its a very small amount of time so could probably be worked around if necessary. What I do is use the floor pod for amp modelling and effects I want through the whole song and then separate effects (usually just an overdrive pedal) for changes during the song.
15. I have the floor pod and previous posts are not far off IMHO It is mostly an amp simulator (let me know if anyone has managed to get a good sound out of the synth function) but I do use the effects too, they are pretty simple but the filter and the chorus do what I need for a couple of songs. Amp sounds are interesting to play with - mostly I end up with (EDIT: personalised versions of) the RnB model for clean and then brit or grind for dirty sounds. Expression pedal is a new one for me and I've loved playing around with volume swells and wah effects. All in all a fun bit of kit. Shame that I don't really have much cause for any effects other than overdrive at the moment. Unfortunately I have not played with the Zoom B2.1u but I've only heard good things about it.
16.
my 10 month old daughter, snoring on my chest...
Has to one of the greatest sounds a person can hear. Congratulations
