1. Nik Kershaw also tours a lot with Go West - I've seen them three times together now. Mr Kershaw is one of those charismatic individuals it is hard to ignore - massive stage presence. Incredibly funny to see them doing the same arm movements at one point - Nik and Peter Cox are, how can we say, very different altitudinally - very obviously done on purpose for comic effect. At one gig they both did a cover of one of each other's songs - Nik rearranged 'Missing Persons' and it was stunning.
2. Yikes! Thanks for that. I can happily stop looking now
3. Are you able to weigh this fairly accurately, please?
4. How much does this weigh, please?
5. I use Teamup for one band too. And you can export entries into Google, which is useful.
6. Away for a few days type bump. Back late Weds.

8.
What can you say about Chuck Berry, except legend
Some people might add he was a pervert and one of the nastiest human beings on the planet. But, yes, musically the world would be a very different place but for his genius.
9. Depends entirely upon the sound you want, really. For me it is the Fender Original but others prefer Seymour Duncan 1/4lb er, which I find way too harsh. It is all so very subjective.
10. OK, so this is a BT4, not a BT8. I am stupid and have caused myself and the guy interested some problems. So, here it is folks, a Hipshot BT4! Unhelpfully this isn't listed on the Hipshot website (one reason for my error), but Bestbassgear has this to say - 'The BT4 fits - American-made Fender '82-'84's, '90 and newer Elit's, P-Bass+ and J-Bass+, American Standard Jazz, and Deluxe P-Bass+ with thin stamped cloverleaf key.' Whatever that means. http://www.bestbassgear.com/hipshot-bt4-bass-xtender.htm
11. The one I want is the 5 string version of the BB3000, the BB5000. Actually that is incorrect, the one I NEED is the BB5000. Strongest GAS I have ever encountered...
12. You could do a lot worse than an Orange TB500. I've just got one to use with my Supercompact and am enjoying it a lot.
13. I generally have burger and chips before a pub gig at the venue, if they offer such a thing. Would that be Brit Floyd, by any chance? Difficult to tell from your avatar pic but you resemble their bass player.
14. I've previously owned a Ibanez SR300, Squier VM Jazz and currently own a Yamaha BB425. I'd take the Yamaha over any of those every time.
15.
I always forget which came first: Rococobilly or Baroqueabilly.
I feel a band coming on... Big King Louis and the Barockettes, playing a selection of French 17th century rock and roll ditties.
16.
I still want to know more about Rocakabilly, mind.
Similar to Rococobilly but less fancy.
17. I started off with a Compact. Fabulous cab but perhaps slightly lacking top end. A while later I added a Midget. On its own it was a feisty little thing but lacked bottom end. Together they were a match made in Heaven. Or, more accurately, Brighton. Then I replaced the Compact/Midget combination with a Supercompact and that does the same job - has the lows of the Compact but the tightness of the Midget, all in the one cab. A very focused sort of tone. I liked it so much I got another one. Just, well, because.
18. Makes me wish I were still playing 4 strings. Seems a good price.
