I've just 'upped the anti' to an RH750 so this is now surplus. Anything you might want to know about specs is on this link [url="http://www.tcelectronic.com/classic450/"]http://www.tcelectro...com/classic450/[/url] I've been using this with Barefaced cabs for last couple of years and it is very easy to use and set up in a gigging situation. The Tubetone in particular I find very good as you can dial in a passable tube overdrive emulation from warm to dirty without affecting the volume hugely - so you can make changes on the fly for different sound options. Also the compressor isn't in your face if used with discretion. I tend to use it with the eq flat which, through the Barefaced cabs, is pretty clean - coloured more towards 'old school' than the 'Genz Benz brittle', if you see what I mean. Volume-wise I've used it into 8ohm for rehearsals, master turned up to just 11 or 12 0'clock, less into 4 ohms for gigs. I've now gone over to a one cab set up so felt the need for extra headroom but kept to TC Electronic as I like the tone and overall 'user-friendliness'. This is in pretty decent nick. No issues with the knobs whatsoever. There is a slight dink in the ali casing in one corner and a very slight scuff at the front, other than that is is much as came out of the box. I have no spare kettle leads, though, so this comes without. Speaker out via single speakon, not jack. I'm asking £250 for this, collected from SS7. Could meet half way or deliver for fuel within a reasonable radius. Insured next day courier would be around £15. Not really looking for trades at the moment. Would make a nice partner for my Barefaced Compact, also for sale... Update to this - the Midget is sold pending the usual. I now have the amp I am looking for so this is sale only for the Compact with a tiny price cut. £400 posted or £370 collected.

Midget is on hold. Re postage, I think I can courier the Compact for £30 and, having had a rummage around in the loft, have found enough cardboard to fashion some kind of box for it.

Not sure postage will be viable for me, unfortunately. I'll have a look and see how much I can arrange it for but I think it would be expensive. Alex charges £30 per cab for next day delivery but I can't imagine i could get anywhere near that. Happy to meet for fuel costs or deliver within a reasonable distance but I fear York is a bit far.

I got this recently in a trade, had a couple of issues that are now sorted but it doesn't do what I need of it, so time to move it on. Eden WT300B Traveller head. 300W into 4ohms. Tube preamp. 34 x 30 x 10cm weighs just over 6kg. At single cab/8ohms is isn't quite loud enough for my purposes. It is possible to piggy back this with a second amp via the phones out socket but I am trying to rationalise my kit, not complicate it! It came with a duff kettle lead, which was most of the problem, I haven't bought one so I will send it out without as I haven't enough spares. This is apparently normal state of affairs with Eden heads.

I have just acquired a Barefaced Supercompact which, as it seems to do exactly what it says on the tin, has become my one cab solution and so my much loved and cared for Gen1 Compact and Midget are now surplus. I am sure I don't need to describe what they do as there has been endless discussion on here about it. Suffice to say each has its own character but together they are greater than their sum. Both are in excellent condition, always had Roqsolid covers, which are included in the sale. The feet are fine Handle on the Midget has started to wear on the rubber bit, so I will also include in the sale the replacement kit I have just bought (but not fitted) - one with each cab. Double Speakons at the back. Black metal grille versions with chrome corners. I am putting these up at £375 each or £700 the pair, given the condition, covers and handle upgrades. If possible I'd like to shift them as a pair (otherwise they would pine for each other, I am sure). I'd consider a trade for a Gallien Kruger MB800 Fusion, MB500 Fusion or possibly a TC Electronic RH 750, with any adjustments deemed necessary either way. I don't have any boxes large enough so for the moment these are collection only from SS7 on the North Thames Delta. Pop round to try them out if you like. Pics to follow but they look like what they always look like.
