Sold, sold, sold This funky looking 5-string is a great entry to electric upright basses. I've used it for practise, some recording and live work (with a prog band!). It's an unlined 35 inch scale, 18v active bass strung with a low B. The guitar and stand hardware all packs down in to the case (included) for safe and easy transport. I'm clearing out the paddock a bit and this just doesn't get the use any more, so perhaps someone else can enjoy it and take a leap into EUBs. I'd prefer pick up and I'll travel a reasonable distance from Sheffield or Nottingham to close a deal. I could box it up for a courier if need be, at the buyers expense. Here's what the internet says; Solid Maple Neck-Thru Construction Classic Slotted Headstock Design 6'' Radius Rosewood Fingerboard Piezo Bridge 35'' Scale Length Position markers on the side help you keep track of where you are on the neck as you transfer your hard-won chops to the moaning, liberating sound of a fretless upright. Solid maple neck-through construction with slotted headstock, standard 35" scale, and traditional 6"- radius Pau Ferro fingerboard. Piezo bridge with buffer preamp lets you plug right into a standard bass amp. Double-braced tripod stand and black chrome hardware make the Dean Pace Bass easy to manage and very cool looking.

Sold, sold, sold Hi Guys, I'm clearing out the paddock a bit (that's code for 'her upstairs' having a word) and this is one that rarely comes out to play any more. It's an Ibanez Artcore AGB200 Semi-hollow body short scale (30 inch) in, I think, Tabaco with "gold" hardware. Softcase included. It's a cool lil bass, but doesn't quite cut the mustard in my current band. £250 ono and it's yours. I'd prefer pick up and I'll travel a reasonable distance from Sheffield or Nottingham to close a deal. I could box it up for a courier if need be, at the buyers expense. What the internets says; The Ibanez AGB200 Electric Bass from the Artcore series features an 30" scale for easy fingering. The semi-hollow body construction increases sustain and combines with the double humbuckers for an unmistakable "roots rock" sound. Super-stable Gibraltar III bridge. Maple top, back and sides. Ibanez AGB200 Features: Neck type: 3pc Artcore Bass Mahogany/Maple neck Body: Maple top/back/sides Frets: Medium frets Bridge: Gibraltar III bass bridge (19mm string spacing) Tailpiece: Quik Change III bass tailpiece Neck pickup: ACHB-2 neck Bridge pickup: ACHB-2 bridge Scale: 30.3"

Sold, sold, sold 1995 Warwick Thumb bolt on custom 6 string bass Smaller than standard one piece walnut body (so it looks like a broad necked bass but it isn't) Wenge Neck Ebony fingerboard Scale length 34 inch String spacing at bridge 18mm Nut width 52.5mm Basslines pups Active/passive push pull volume knob Pickup blend knob Stacked bass/treble knob Warwick strap locks Comes with (scuffed) Hiscox hard case Chrome hardware Weight: approx 6 kg Now Sold. I'm begrudgingly putting this beautiful bass up for sale. It's got tone for days, mellow to a soft touch and barks like an angry dog when you dig in. The action is incredibly low (lower than any other bass I've owned or played), it's rock solid. Its a beast of bass and I'll be sorry to see it go, but it doesn't get played any more and apparently I "have too many basses".... I bought it here on BC 6 or 7 years ago and it was my primary gigging bass for 5 of those years, always in a hard case and treated well. The case is a bit scuffed, but that's testament to it's full and rich life. It keeps the bass all snuggly and safe inside. I'd prefer pick up and I'll travel a reasonable distance from Sheffield or Nottingham to close a deal. I could box it up for a courier if need be, at the buyers expense.
Sold the Spector to Cosmo Valdemar Sold the Dean Pace 5 to Ateyercheese Both transactions smooth except for glitches with carrier
Bought Brian's Dean, he went out of his to enable me to purchase through paypal and although we suffered through the snow and some courier issues, he kept me updated all the way through. A great guy to deal with, thanks very much. (and I'm really enjoying the Dean, got to get some practise in now!)

My custom J bass - Shuker bass building course July 2009
ateyercheese replied to ateyercheese's topic in Build Diaries
Going in the studio this weekend with the band. I think it's going to sound great on the slow stuff. As for the question about the course, each step is demonstrated then Jon checks on your progress, working round the group. I had a brilliant time I'd recommend it to anyone. I had zero wood working experience when I started. -
