  1. Nice one. I think this combination looks indeed better. I would get a clear pickguard for the Sledge to really showcase the stunning finish!
  2. Fully agree. Plush has several interesting parts. They are all fun to play and even someone with such limited skills like myself can play them 😎
  3. Cool stuff. Yes, it was a fantastic gig. I know that Jeff Gutt is not Scott Weiland but I think he did a great job and he engaged the audience quite well too, including climbing around the venue 😉
  4. Got Dan's EBMM Stingray 4HH in natural today. Dan packed the bass extremely well and it arrived in top condition. Bass looked actually better in person than in the photos. Cool stuff. Already bought three basses from Dan within the last year and they were all great. Already looking forward to buying another bass from Dan. Buy with confidence 👍👍👍
  5. So glad to see your two Sabres together 🤩 Yes, would be nice to see the neck swap. I think it could work really well (sunburst and rosewood is the classic combination and the Sledge was also available with a maple fingerboard). BTW, cool photo of the Sledge (photo 2), really shows all the different colours of the finish. Enjoy 👍
  6. Keir just came over to collect my EBMM Sabre. We had a really nice chat and I know that he will love the Sabre. Great communications and super fast payment 👍 I really enjoyed meeting Keir and I am more than happy to sell to and/or buy from him in the future again!
  7. Still remember the STP concert in the o2 Forum in Kentish Town on June 13th 2019. Great concert and, up to this day, my last concert attendance 😢
  8. Yes, Rob DeLeo has come up with some great basslines. Plush is my fav as it has several interesting parts, very melodic. Other favs are: interstate love song, crackerman (simple lines but very groovy), sour girl, trippin on paper heart, sex type thing and down. Enjoy 👍
  9. Man, that's so cruel. I recently sold a bass for almost the same as the asking price of this beauty and promptly re-invested it into two other basses. Now this, KILLER of a bass shows up and I ask myself - Why did you not wait?!? Cruel, so cruel. Well, next time. If you consider what SR Special HHs cost nowadays (£3k!), I doubt this will hang around long. GLWTS 👍
  10. The Timmy C is great but it is not my fav signature bass though. That spot is taken by my Spector Euro 4 Mike Starr LE. As a massive AIC fan, I had to get it and I had the Haz 9V preamp put into it. Together with the solid maple wings and the crown inlays, it comes pretty close to a NS-2. It also has the classic Spector look - White gloss, cannot get any more 80s 😉 Well, it is the only bass in my collection that is "not for sale". All the others can (and, knowing me, eventually will ; -) go but the Mike Starr is only going to the well-known destination called NOWHERE 😉
  11. Yes, I can also confirm that the Timmy C signature bass is awesome. It looks great (natural finish with black hardware, I always wanted EBMM to offer that. Wish they would do it more often) and has some cool features like the height adjustable finger ramp, the old school bridge, the string through option, the mutes and the old logo.
  12. Bought Dave's Fender American Series P bass in chrome red. Just could not resist it. I would like to use this opportunity to thank Dave for the super smooth transaction and for making the bass ready for collection at such super short notice 🙂 The bass is great and I am very happy with it. Buy with confidence 👍
  13. Just got this info from Ticketmaster "The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that they've announced a new date for this show, which was originally due to take place on 25 May 2022 - it will now be taking place on 9 February 2023." 😥
  14. Thanks, unfortunately, one hour too late. Just bought another metallic red P bass here on BC. Hope someone will go for this beauty. GLWTS 👍
  15. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.
  16. Wow, this looks great 🤩 Literally one day too late for me as I just bought another bass yesterday. BTW, the pickup is a "Custom Shop '60s Split Single-Coil Precision Bass". that's what is says on https://serialnumberlookup.fender.com/lookup/ after putting in the serial number (US12027327), confirming that you are not a robot and clicking on the model number in blue (0193600719). It also lists all the other product specs. GLWTS 👍
  17. Spector Forte 4 Gloss Black
  18. BTW, Todd "Dammit" Kerns already has a Tbird shaped signature bass - The Anti-Star Signature Bass https://www.prestigeguitars.com/anti-star-bass/ Todd ‘Dammit’ Kerns, is best known as bass player/backing vocalist of SLASH feat Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. He is also the front man for legendary Canadian rock band Age Of Electric, and a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer. Basically Todd does it all and rarely, if ever, slows down. He is currently hard at work with Age of Electric, Todd Dammit And The Anti-Stars, TKO and a project called TOQUE which he formed with Cory Churko (Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson, and Reba McEntire) and fellow Conspirator Brent Fitz. The Signature Todd ‘DAMMIT’ Kerns Anti-Star is the culmination of R&D carried out on rock n roll stages all over the world, with bass guitars of all shapes and descriptions. The resulting design was a direct collaboration between Todd ‘DAMMIT’ Kerns and the Prestige Guitars design team and is an absolute embodiment of the tone and playing style Todd is known for. Straight ahead, full-force, rock n roll. The Anti-Star’s unique offset body shape features a 7 piece mahogany/walnut neck-through design coupled with ebony fingerboard and a Hipshot full contact bridge, to drive that huge, powerful, thunderous tone and maximize every ounce of string vibration. Tone controls are stripped down to the bare essentials; Volume control and On/Off kill switch. Pickups are Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Signature ‘Todd Kerns’ passive bass pickups, wound hotter than normal for a little extra punch. A reverse headstock with TUSQ XL Nut and a set of Grover Titan Machine Heads completes this rock n roll machine. USD 1,499
  19. Gibson should hire this guy. He clearly has much better ideas than what Gibson has come up with in the last few years or even decades!
  20. It is Candy Apple Red. If you go to https://serialnumberlookup.fender.com/lookup/ and put in the serial number (MX13409885) and confirm you are not a robot, the model number will appear (in blue) in the search results. Click on it and all the product specs will appear. Interestingly, the serial number suggests a 2013 model but the bass was actually finished in Feb 2014, making it a 2014 model! I am also still very tempted. Hope someone buys it before I have to explain to my wife why I had to buy two basses on one day 😉
