Great looking bass. Congrats, Andy. However, did not know that you were a Wolves fan π

We should not let labels bother us, it is just great music and let's celebrate it π

Another groovy STP classic. It is pretty easy but soooo much fun to play π

Oh man, this reminds me of this movie scene (from 1:40) π

I spent my weekends trawling the internet on the search for an EBMM Stingray 4H, 2EQ, natural, maple fingerboard, with arm and body contours (so, no pre-EBMM and no Classic). One of the places I regularly check is the Bass Gallery and they don't have my 2EQ SR but they do have the same Bongo 5HH in Egyptian Smoke that Bass Direct lists. Yes, it is exactly the same bass. I checked the serial number - F07975. Interesting, how can the same bass be in two different shops and for two different prices (Β£1,399 vs Β£1,200) at the same time? https://thebassgallery.com/collections/bass/products/ernie-ball-music-man-bongo-5 https://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Bongo_5HH_SH.html

Well, what can I say? It is a nice song and that's probably the nicest thing I can say about it. Nice.
-
Agree. Interstate Love Song is another great one to play

not strictly grunge but Stone Temple Pilot's Plush has some great lines. Very melodic and consisting of several interesting but not too difficult parts (so an amateur like me can also handle them and gains some sense of achievement ;-).

Rooster is great and yes I am a bit biased as a big AIC fan. These are my other AIC fav lines: Man in the Box, Angry Chair, Sea of Sorrow (only one string but still cool as, well, I cannot say as what ;- ), Bleed the Freak, Would, Junkhead, It Ain't Like That, Down in a Hole and and and. Play them on one of these π

Hope his shop is only temporally closed, maybe due to Covid related supply issues. In the meantime, here is a cool home video that Dan shot back in the early 90s, showing the birth of the Lakland basses π

Interesting. Did not know that Dan Lakin was involved. Does anyone know what happened to him? His shop is currently closed: https://www.dlakinbasses.com

Man, you really must love this bass. Because, why would you otherwise buy the exact same model with the exact same finish five times? π

Man, I am normally not a huge Rick fan but this one looks killer indeed π€©

Well, as you know, I am happy to take one from you. Always happy to help π

Sorry, but there is only one winner and that's me. Bought one bass and sold seven so far, which brings me to -6. Who can beat that? Exactly, no one, WINNING π

Great looking bass. Congrats π I had the P bass twin. Sounded and looked great. Very nice neck profile too. Only sold it as I got an Ernie Ball Cutlass and both basses were sonically in the same ballpark (pun intended ;- ) I decided to keep the Cutlass and sell the Pro II. I think it sold in one or two days and I hope the new owner is very happy with it!

Still looking for an EBMM Stingray 4 H, 2 EQ, natural finish, maple fingerboard, with body contours (so no Classic or pre-EB). Just cannot find one. I am sure they are out there, somewhere, but my search seems to always end up in the well-known destination - nowhere π

There will be another Forte and a NS-2 appearing there very soon too π
