Black and maple, timeless classic 🤩

Really? Are you sure? "Cremation takes its piece of your supply, The night is dressed like noon, A sailor spoke too soon, And China's on the dark side of the moon" Sounds good to me. Compare that to Scooter's lyrics and you will quickly realise how awesome RHCP's lyrics really are: Start the danger Rearranger Not so cool Mercy I'm the vapour On the radar Get up on the mic and shout it Yeah, move it I spit bricks got the kicks in the mix My pricks long out the rigs Party of bricks like Jackie X No diggedy diggedy HP I'm the bad boy, roll MC, so sexy Hold your back for the rhythym attack Coming down on the floor like a maniac Hold your back for the rhythym attack Get down in full effect Hold your back for the rhythym attack Coming down on the floor like a maniac Hold your track so clean up the dish By the way How much is the fish? Aaaah! I ramp, me no ramp, Me no skin, Me no play, yeah When me chant 'pon the microphone And me say with the DJ Junglists in the place Junglists on the case Scooter are you readyyy?

Man, this looks killer. Hope whoever bought it made you a great offer you just could not resist.

Just checked the "Hound of the Baskervilles" Wiki entry. There it says under "Inspiration" "Moreover, Devon's folklore includes tales of a fearsome supernatural dog known as the Yeth hound that Conan Doyle may have heard". Well, I doubt it looked anything like this, clearly bored one, though:
-
Wow, did not know that Black Sabbath's Paranoid is a cover of Cindy and Berd's "Hund von Baskerville" 😉 Did I spot a young Boris Johnson in the crowd?

I don't know. Maybe your example is the so-called exception that proves the rule, or your rule is a different type of rule, or I only reminder bits from my uni class. Man, it's 25 years ago, so I probably don't remember everything, don't even remember what I had for lunch today 😉 So, as the great philosopher H P Baxter once said, the question is what is the question?
-
I honestly did not think of politics. I just thought back to a course at university (sociology, social systems) where we discussed that a rule always includes the non following of the rules. For example, if no one ever kills anyone, then you do not need a rule or law saying that "you must not kill" in the first place. Anyway, back to finding loopholes to be able stay in the gear abstince game 😀
-
Yes, it is just a bit of fun and, from a philosophical perspective, it is crucial that some people break the rules as there would not be the need for a rule without any rule breaking otherwise. Breaking the rule is a requirement for the rule to exist in the first place. Think about it.

"Need more speed" - sorry, I am a bit confused. Since when is it ok to openly ask for a class A drug on BC? 😉

Imagine the Peppers were self-reflective like the Matrix director Lara Wachowski (Matrix IV pretty much mocks the first three), then they would use @Ricky Rioli's Gordon Ramsey rant as a rap (with a nice funky groove) for a new song called "Black Summer Resurrections" 😉
-
Fully agree. Nice song that could easily be a Californication B-side. Great to have John back though!

What are you listening to right now?

Well if that's really an exam question, then I'll critically say: where is the link between "will power" and "happiness"? Where is the empirical evidence for this hypothesized relationship? Well, I guess now you know why I wasn't popular in school (or university or work) 🙂
-
Tried it out and it really works. Sounds much better 🙂 Not sure about the "nu prog grindgrunge" label though.

Cool, 50+ olds and punk remind me of these videos. Check them out 😎

I realised in 2016 that we must be living in a computer simulation when nearby Leicester City won the PL. Leicester City? Really? This clearly must have been a glitch in the matrix 🤪
-
and we are all living in the matrix anyway. Time to wake up
-
C'mon, I just want to have some fun. We can make our own rules, these are just social constructs anyway.
-
I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, we could change the rules and what really matters could be the difference between bought and sold gear. So, yes, as long as the number of sold basses, cabs, heads and pedals equals the number of bought ones, you are still in. I already sold four basses, have so far bought only one new one, so I am currently at -3. Therefore, I am still in and can even buy three more basses 😁
-
or what if I say that I did not know that I bought a bass? or that I did not know that it was a bass? or that I did not know that buying a bass was against the rules of the gear abstinence club? I clearly got ambushed with a bass. Not my fault 😎
-
what if I send it to the shop that sold it to me and they then sell it as a used bass? Then I am back in, right as I only temporarily bought it from them? Kind of rented it 😉
-
Pssst, Rickenbackers can now be sold in BC classifieds!

Ricks sell...but Who's buying?
