Fully agree and yes, most ABBA songs are cheesy but it is good quality cheese, not cheap, plasticky cheese. But, yeah, it is still cheese and I am more the juicy and bloody steak kind of guy (aka hard rock and metal). Although there are Philly cheesesteaks. The mismatched pole pieces are apparently designed this way to create tone consistency across the strings. It's a feature of this new model series.

Good point, online forums like BC and TC are cool places to hang out and chat but clearly not representative of the wider bass gear buying market. I remember Sterling Ball once saying in the EBMM forum that people have great new product ideas but EBMM has to be very careful and cannot make them all as otherwise this would guarantee him a new career in hospitality: "Do you want fries with that?" 😉

Same here. I also like thin/flat necks. The one on my CLF Research L2K is really nice. You should check out the CLF line. I also prefer the look of the CLF headstock.
