Not so keen on this one but I guess it will be made to order for MxPx fans. So, no business risk for EBMM. I liked the idea behind the Joe Dart Sterling (except for the over-sized volume knob). I was always hoping for a Timmy C Stingray sig like the one below (natural and black hardware). It probably will never happen, esp. now with the swamp ash crisis (no Stingray in natural finish available)

This looks cool. Speaking of the 80s, here is another one coming back soon:
-
Probably. It also has the 1.5" neck. I actually ordered one from a German retailer and asked them to check it thoroughly before shipping it over (last year they sent me two basses with faults and I had to send them both back). They were so kind to take and send me some photos. Unfortunately, these showed that the black finish had several scratches and they therefore did not ship it. Now I cannot find it anywhere else ๐

Looks really cool. However, Lakland's John Pirruccello says about the new Lakland Skyline 4464 GZ (Geezer Butler signature model): "What can I say. It is very black. Can't get much more black than this" (1:11). A nod to Spinal Tap, I guess ๐

This is an amazing premium buckeye burl top. Congrats. Hope to ever have enough dough to get a NS2 or 4 with such a cool top in an inferno high gloss finish. The most recent US Spectors with that kind of top; however, are rather underwhelming

Wow. Wow. Wow. What a stunning finish. Love it!๐คฉ

Spector Nation? Cool, can I get permanent residency or, even better, an inferno red passport? ๐

Looks like a Spector Legend 4 Standard. Like this one: https://reverb.com/ca/item/14587160-spector-legend-4-standard

Sorry everyone. I've just realised that I cannot even count to 3 ๐ฅด

Here you go. I see a black bass and I want it painted red ๐

The 77 really is amazing. Not only is the neck great but also the DiMarzio pickup has some serious oomph. What a killer sound. I think I mentioned in another thread that it is like a P bass on steroids. Definitely a keeper bass for me. Although, I also said that many times for other basses that are not with me anymore ๐ -

Yes, whoever buys your bass will bag him/herself a great bargain. Very, very tempting (could complement my white Euro) but I really need to get myself a Euro with either the EMG TW soapbar pickups or the Fishman Fluence ones (the Rudy Sarzo model coming in summer/autumn), so that I can replace the neck pickup with the Mike Inez FF Legacy pickup. Have to resist ๐ -
SOLD:::Spector Euro 4LX Gloss Black LTD Edition

I am quite confident that this Euro LTD has solid maple wings. Thomann and Sweetwater have them in stock (black gloss and chrome hardware) and it says "Body: Maple" (Thomann) and "Body Material: North American Maple" (Sweetwater). Sweetwater also has a table that shows that this bass is the only Euro with maple only. The others all have alder bodies and maple/poplar burl tops. https://www.thomann.de/gb/spector_euro_lx_4_sbg.htm?sid=46dba6a2be90dc251a0ba00394f8bf49 https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EURO4BK--spector-euro4-solid-black-gloss -
SOLD:::Spector Euro 4LX Gloss Black LTD Edition
Eldon Tyrell replied to Dov65's topic in Basses For Sale
I think it is LTD as it is one of the last available Euro LX in black with chrome hardware and solid maple wings. The latest LXs come in black cherry, trans black stain, poplar burl natural and black&blue. The new Euro 4 Classic comes in solid black but with weight-relieved maple wings, gold hardware and the EMG BTS preamp instead of the Tonepump. BD had the LTDs in black and white (4-string and 5-string). They all sold very quickly ๐ -
Wow. Stunning finish ๐

Now released on YouTube! Cannot wait for his signature bass to be released ๐

I liked the video. I like Basstheworld in general. Gregor has some humour and the two bassists (Lars and Rene) who normally test gear are amazing (However, Ida in this video was of course great too.) The A4 Ultra Ash itself is on my watchlist. I am looking for a bass with Fishman fluence pickups and the Cort is a contender (I want to replace the neck pickup with the Fishman Fluence Mike Inez Legacy pickup and turn the bass in an AIC bass). The only issue I have, just from an aesthetic point of view, is the headstock design. Not so impressed by it. Looks like a piece got chopped off (maybe after hitting a crash cymbal) ๐

Yes, definitely worth checking out. I once had a Legend Neck-Thru (NT), maple with bubinga top, matte finish. Looked and sounded great (Aguilar OBP 2 and Aguilar pickups). Great built quality too. Just a bit heavy and the neck was a bit too narrow for my taste. So, I sold it and bought a Euro instead.
