  1. How much does this weigh please? Edit sorry I see you included!
  2. Still for sale? I dm’ed you.
  3. Bought a quilter bb800 amp from Ryan. Very transparent and attentive communication, easy transaction! Thanks
  4. Ok thanks! I think I’ll pull the trigger then on the Quilter. 800 watts is just so... many watts!
  5. I’m thinking about getting a bb802, and am wondering how does it sound at lower volumes? I hear a lot about how good it sounds when cranked but in all honesty my band is pretty quiet and 800 watts is probably overkill for me.
  6. Hello, I'm planning on buying the Quilter Bassblock 802 amp. 800 watts is more than I need, but it sounds great, is in my price range, and has a headphone jack for silent practicing which I intend to use. I will also be using it for rehearsing with my band and for gigs. The question is, will the amp be consuming the same amount of power as a headphones amp as it would playing loudly with a band? In which case, will using this amp cause my electricity bill to go up over, say, Quilter's 45w dedicated headphones amp? Should I be looking for a 300-400 watt amp instead if I'm worried about power consumption? Thanks! Paul
  7. That's amazing, that's for that diagram! I'll give it a try. I'm trying to just remove the j pickup to leave the P as a typical P bass.
  8. Perfect, thanks BassBunny. I was worried that doing so would somehow affect that P pickup.
  9. Hi, I've got a PJ squire bass. I'd like to disconnect the Jazz pickup... not remove it or the pot, but just make it so the Jazz volume pot doesn't do anything. I don't know much about wiring, but I can follow a wiring diagram. Is it as easy as cutting the wires coming from the j pickup, or will that break the whole circuit causing nothing to work? I don't have any soldering knowledge and can't take it to a tech given the pandemic. Thanks, Paul
