  1. After picking up the This Are Two Tone compilation on vinyl yesterday.
  2. What a terrible website, it's still showing as available!
  3. Thanks for the review. Is anyone else waiting for a Betsy to be delivered? Ive been waiting a while for mine, since early August,, apparently there are none of the correct EMG’s available currently to allow them to complete the builds..
  4. There is still a market, but there does seem to be a change in the type of magazine that’s doing well. The more expensive, less adverts, almost A4 paperback book version seems to be becoming more prevalent. I can think of a few, non-music, magazines that have started in the last couple of years that are doing well. 2 that I get on my other interests of mountain biking and cars being Cranked and The Road Rat, the Road Rat being very book like.
  5. Just seen that on the BBC website so fingers crossed
  6. A shame, I'm supposed to be going to the Deaf institute for a delayed gig to see Tokyo Police Club, was planned for December. Guess I will hear at some point if it is planned for elsewhere
  7. I do that as well, however, the problem with lockdown is not being able to have stuff delivered to the office....
  8. I'm very new to playing (learning really) and already looking at a 2nd bass. I use a Ashdown B-Social to run a 210 cab as I'm only going to be a home player and the B-Social can be used as a bluetooth player etc. Hasn't stopped me watching proper amps on eBay etc as well.
  9. As a complete newbie to playing bass (or any guitar) I had no option but to buy online sight unseen as despite having a music store literally just round the corner none of them are open. Even so going into a shop to try one would have been pretty pointless anyway as I couldn't play (getting there on basics now), I did use PMT as that felt like a real shop with an online presence. I bought one of the Hofner Ignition basses, as it seemed like a sensibly priced version of a bass that I recognised (I'm a McCartney fan), not perhaps the best choice for a hamfisted beginner. Wish I had looked online more (and found basschat before I bought) and gone for a cheaper more basic bass as I think it would have suited me better. I guess it just means I need to buy a second one already.
