  1. That is a fab bass! Please could you check the weight and what is the 12th fret width....thx....B
  2. Should have added they are light & have the option of a slightly smaller body size!
  3. Dave,I would highly recommend Mike Lull as a P alternative...I have the 30" scale (pic above) but they have a number of scale/fret config's, the build, ergonomics & sound is excellent....good luck....
  4. Great gig ( & food) last night in Carlton le Moorland...2 1/2 hrs of 60 & 70 pop nostalgia...raising money for a local cause...pic of set up after sound check...I know I keep banging on about a silent stage...but we wanted to rehearse a new encore medley...so we did this with FoH muted so the organisers could lay out the room.
  5. What a perfect outdoor cover....now who can I task to carry?
  6. Whats a record player...ha
  7. Stings "Shape of my heart" acoustic version with Dominic Miller...(very controlled) &...Whitesnake's "Is this love" the HSCC version
  8. The Blade is an understated gem
  9. I have always liked the Danelectro body and that looks stunning....but the headstock! especially surrounded by class
  10. Not a brand I know...can see the vintage....is it just a modern build? I have gone light weight short scale: 26.5" for cramped rehearsals & 30.5" for gigs
  11. Good move...did the same but no van as we only need a PA for max 250...I really enjoyed researching/ experementing and trying all the PA & IEM components
  12. Totally recognise the picture you describe, we have been motivated to find a way to continue as we are retired, in our 70's with back issues but are determined to make it to our 50 years, with the same band & members (remaining 3) which is 2022. The other band I play with are as you describe!!!!...ha
  13. Silent stage, once you have experienced it its difficult to argue with the benefits ...individual mix control...clarity and separation..easier to singing in tune & balance BV's...hear the good, improving & mistakes...lower volume in ear therefore reduced damage...less tired after gig...and the audience will notice the tightness & ballance! Yes it takes commitment and time to get used to the new sound....often band members hide in the stage noise, so feel insecure without the volume, so all have to support. We did it in stages with a short term goal and review after each stage, it took 4 months 10 rehearsals 8 gigs
  14. Add RCF to your list...there are some on BC....whats the budget
  15. I had the same issue...once each of the band had an iPad for in ear ONLY (would not let them nr the FoH mix) they made no changes!!!!
  16. Totally understand...get all the band to chip in you will never regret the investment...BTW the router which we have run 6+ devices was £142
  17. Consider the RCF M20X, we migrated to this after using a M18 for a few years. High quality, features & functionality...intuitive...should cover all your needs plus 20 channel recording & playback for sound checks. We only use the router for individual in ear or monitor mix.
  18. Yes we have 4 for monitors...excellent build and sound
