  1. Fabulous bass ACG quality...great price...GLWTS
  2. Used at our gig last night...great sound, no noise, very small adjustment from fist set up at home...used with ACG Krell & Mike Lull P...more natural than the digital mixer EQ (not using back line)...it's a keeper
  3. ...our 3rd gig using our new digital set up, BUT at last we got the Wi-fi working ...silent stage no backline or monitors

Alan has added to his site....its a micro body which he normally fits 26.5" (which I also have) if you are looking for lightweight, consider a Paulownia body.
  5. I've just acquired a Mike lull P4 and did not want to mod', I have used a Tech 21 Q strip
  6. I have been testing the Tech 21 Q strip on an active & passive bass and I am delighted with the very high quality sound & simple set up. I have used the Sansamp bass driver & RBI also digital EQ...which are great but the Q strip is less aggressive and provides a wide blended/overlapping smooth sound that responds to playing levels/styles (pick & finger) I particularly like the 2 Mid controls...easy to find sweet spots...will gig this weekend It is a analog mixer channel strip approach, see video posts...as you would expect from Tech 21 its well built...
  7. Full spec' as requested... https://www.acguitars.co.uk/project/0410microkrell4-30-5/

A shout out for Paulownia for body wood, intro' to me by Alan ACG. It half the weight of traditional tone woods and dimensionally stable, no knots & warp free. The 4 string Krell Alan built is 6.4lb ! it looks great and tactile...very pleased Shur us it for their classic Tele's
