I think your spot on...the theatre sound guy was not at the performance!

Yes, if the guitarist turned the vol down it it reduced & disappeared. Its a theatre in a remote village no taxi's or sub stations...which puts on many productions But I think you are correct it has to be wireless / modem/ backstage comms etc...even though we were assured all was off! I will pursue...thx

We have no amps/backline or monitors...digital desk to FoH powered cabs, all phones off! The 4Khz was definitely pre pickup

HELP...We had an issue @ a theatre gig...any ideas??????????????? Our guitarist used a 70's strat & Tele the pickups, picked up a pulsing 4Khz signal, sounding like a cricket! We isolated mains, guitar, no hearing loop, or modem, phones, lights, wireless for iPad, no backline or monitors etc. I tried a passive p/u bass, same issue. Anybody had this experience

Did MM ever make a short scale USA Sterling?

I have the A18s and agree they are awesome. I have found they do not need much eq correction and run best at a lower level than previous IEM's...but have found a massive improvement if we use a pro/studio headphone amp. AUX's from digital mixer to 4 channel headphone amp, feeding each band member...excellent clarity and separation, no noise.

The S'burst is a standard passive short scale, which I have added active pre amp. The natural is a ltd edition of 50 (#14) Tim Commerford short scale, active, mute bridge...both smaller bodies & lightweight...the scratch plates are custom to celebrate my bands 50th anniversary ! Fynnius Fogg -

Hi, has anyone had experience with the Allen & Heath ME-1 personal mixer. Views, particularly is the headphone amp any good. The band is upgrading to SQ mixer & considering the ME-1, we are using a DACS headlite 3+ headphone amp at present & controlling IEM mix with iPad...thx
