  1. Anyone know where I can get a black one from?
  2. Well I am a Rick convert, I have two 4003s/5’s a 4003s in Walnut and a recently acquired 4003BT. Loving them!
  3. I have a fully operational Helix HX Effects pedal, power supply, case and expression pedal up for grabs, All working as it should, just not for me. £265.00 the bundle!
  4. Now £250.00 Great pedal, very intuitive, but I am going down the Boss route. In very good condition with proper Zoom B6 case (cost £80) and two power supplies, also have the original box etc... If mainland UK will include postage.
  5. I have a Boss ME90B and a Zoom B6, I am looking to pair either up with a Headrush 112FRFR then bleed the signal through the PA, might this work for a rock covers band?
  6. Now £250 for a limited time, Silly price, the upgrades are worth that alone! Here is a very playable Sterling sub ray5 in walnut finish. It has been upgraded with much better quality machine heads, a wilkinson MM pickup and the wonderful Stinger 77 eq. This plays and sounds like a Ray and is in excellent condition.
  7. Interesting, thanks for that. My amp is a GRBass One head going into a GR212 slim cab.
  8. Basically trying to achieve: NIce clean punchy tone A Bruce Foxton sstyle tone A Phil Lynott tone A distorted overdriven tone Queens of stone age A mellow Bass tone Initially
  9. Basically Bass into Helix, Helix to bass amp & cab, no additional pedals.
  10. I understand building the presets and have put a few together, but this was at home using HXedit and headphones, when I used it at a live rehearsal, they sounded very different, and output volumes varied. I know it is a question of trial and error but I think I must be making some fundamental errors. I also have a Zoom B6, which I have no issue with and seems to work well, I just wanted to see if a Helix would be better, and I am wondering if it is better suited to guitar?
  11. Hi Guys, I have picked up a second hand HX FX pedal and have started tinkering with it, have any of you got any experience with these, got any decent presets, or know where I can get some specifically for bass. I have started building my own, but not going fantastically well! Cheers Stuart
  12. Just did a trade with Wayne, what a top bloke, would happily deal with again.
  13. That would have been the Market Tavern I am guessing, that was a great sorely missed venue.
  14. Gordon Bennetts is pretty much the only dedicated music venue in Hereford!
  15. Great gig at one of our local music venues, first outing for my Rics, which performed amazingly well! Nice Bank Holiday vibe,
  16. 10.4 lbs according to my kitchen scales
  17. In really nice condition, this is a natural finish with a lovely grain, roasted maple neck and has been upgraded with Hipshot licensed ultralight tuners which is a great upgrade (I have the original tuners if you would prefer, but these are a great addition). Plays and sounds great, these Ray 35's are wonderful basses and are supremely giggable. I have had a lot of positive comments about the tone of this bass and it has been a great companion on many gigs. Comes with original Sterling gig bag.
  18. In great condition, this is a pearlescent white which is a cool finish, roasted maple neck and has been upgraded with Hipshot licensed ultralight tuners which is a great upgrade (I have the original tuners if you would prefer, but these are a great addition). Plays and sounds great, these Ray 35's are wonderful basses and are supremely giggable. Comes with original Sterling gig bag.
  19. Sold. Here we have a lovely 5 string Stingray 2004 in Egyptian smoke (lovely colour!), comes complete with original Musicman hard case. Plays well and sounds exactly as it should, has the usual marks and sign of age but is in overall very nice condition, it's been well looked after and it has been a great gigging bass. Maple Neck Rosewood Fretboard, Matching Headstock, frets in good shape, truss rod turns as it should. Wearing EB Slinky's. See pics (RIC case in photographs is just a support) This has it's own!
  20. Literally used once, as new, with box and all bits and bobs. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B096FGYKT1?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder_k0_1_6&amp=&crid=3QV7L1PHBGAHN&sprefix=in%2Bear&th=1
  21. Cheers, balances really well, very underrated Warwick, but still one if my favourites!
  22. Cheers! Was lucky I had a bunch of Warwick spares and know these basses well! Love a project!
  23. I know, I never understand why other brands haven’t adopted a similar approach to the nut. Basically, I removed card, oiled the screws and turned the screw one turn, sorted!
