    Hi All, Got this recently in a trade, and it is a gorgeous instrument but not for me I am afraid. Here is the original for sale thread, (Hope the OP doesn't mind!) It has a huge variety of tones and is a solid and professional feeling instrument, and having the branded Hiscox case is a real plus. These high end Yamaha's are impressive beasts but I prefer more of a jazz type neck, go figure. £500 Happy to entertain trades. Cheers all

    No never leave lead in, when not playing always pull lead. I thought I was right in thinking it should last longer, will check wiring. Cheers Guys

    Hi All, My fave bass is my Grendel active bass, problem is it is eating batteries at an alarming rate, or is it? about 10-12 hours play time will destroy a 9v battery. If I use the tone boost micro switch it goes even faster. How long should it last? is there anything I can do? Cheers Stuart
