1. Hi guys, I have a 1 x 15" MB Combo which I use as a cab only as it is missing the amp, I am now looking to replace the amp, do I need to use the combo head only or will any MB head work? I am thinking of the fixings etc? Cheers Stuart
2. This used to be mine and it is a phenominal bass, Martin is also a top Geezer, If you ever wanted a Ray, this is it!
3. Fancy a swap for a Boss BF-3?
4. Torben is a great guy to deal with, don't worry about International trade here!
5. The Auralex Gramma pad delivered to mainland UK for £40. No longer needed, in excellent condition. Cheers Stuart
6. Marc, Appreciate the concern, I am trying all the above, and having some success, but when I forget and it catches it is uber painful. We had a rehearsal last night, effectively playing solidly for around 3 hours (I know, I know) and I was conscious to adapt my playing to protect my finger. It was basically playing up with expressive fingerstyle, pick helped a lot, but some songs just have to be fingerstyle, however as suggested I turned up instead of digging in and that certainly worked. I will pick up some Voltarol today, thanks for the heads up. Cheers again guys, nice to know you are out there with such good advice! Stuart

12. Thanks Raslee, and Beedster, I know mate, I really love it but find I am taking my Spectors or Ibanez's everytime I play, and the Ray sits in my office at home which is criminal, would suit you sir!
13. Now with pics! (sorry about that)
14. Now with pics. http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry2406588 It is a stunning instrument and now has the choice of three pickguards, black, tort and mirror and a brand new set of string mutes and original case. This is without doubt the best Stingray I have played, it is gorgeous, the tone is sublime, but I am finding myself gravitating towards my Spectors and Ibanez's, go figure! Great price for a stunning bass! £750
15. Guys, Really good advice there, will follow what you say. Cheers Stu
16. Well, recently I have noticed that my index finger of my right hand is painful and I have restricted movement in it, and I think this is down to the level of rehearsals I have been doing lately. We are about to launch a new band and have had some pretty intensive practise sessions. Has anyone else had this and any thoughts on how not to do too much damage? I would say that around 75% of our set list I am paying with fingers and the balance is with pick, so it would seem to fit that my finger is suffering from extended finger playing (oo er missus). Any helpful advice would be much appreciated. Cheers All Stuart
17. Thanks for the heads up I have been after one of these!
18. Can't believe this is still here at this price! Make me an offer guys! Need the space... Cheers Stuart

20. I am currently looking for a lightweight Amp head, so happy to trade!
21. True, but thanks for the thought!
22. Hi guys and gals, Really good condition DR Bass 1580 cab and Roqsolid cover. These are fantastic well designed, well built (USA) cabs which have a really tight quality full range sound.. Its light (neodymium speakers), has a fully adjustable mid range and tweeter, the 15" main is very deep and fruity, and is in very good condition. It has a Roqsolid cover, collection is obviously preferred, but I'm sure we could work something out for delivery. Specs from the web site: 400 watts RMS Neo 1x15, 8" mid w/horn 3-way X-over w/ mid and HF level control 40hz to 20khz 102 dB 1W1M 4 ohms 24.25"h x 20.75"w x 17.5"d 52 lbs. Neodymium I really wouldn't be selling this if I hadn't just gone all Mark Bass again I am looking for [s]£250 [/s] £225 for this beauty
23. Hi All, I am selling my back up gigging stack, and it is an awesome rig, really loud, not too big and a great Ashdown sound. It has been well gigged and has a few marks here and there but is in very presentable condition and has been well looked after by me. It comes complete with matching roqsolid covers and a set of spare valves. The only thing I found was the ashdown meter on the front, lights up and works, but it needs a hell of signal, is obviously doesn't affect the operation of the amp and may just be me, but thought I would mention it. This rig amazed me because of its tone and volume, a very giggable rig. http://www.andertons...0w-bass-amp.asp £250 all in collected, can meet up if not too far or can discuss courier options. Will post pics later. Cheers Stuart
