  1. Hi guys. Got this recently off this very forum, great well gigged cab, great sound, just too heavy for me. It was this one: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/209210-sold-pending-vintage-trace-elliot-1x15-cab/page__p__2170857__hl__trace%20elliot__fromsearch__1#entry2170857 Collection only I am afraid, hence the giveaway price! and I need the space. Grab a bargain! Cheers Stuart
  2. Just bought a Rockbass off Ordep, quick postage, supremely well packed. Great guy to deal with, another credit to Basschat!
  3. These really are superb basses, gonna look for another one now!
  4. Hi All, I just picked up a beautiful Japanese ATK500 Koa top on this forum, and I can see why they call it the Stingray killer! killer tone, real bite. This is the one: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/215726-sold-koa-topped-japanese-ibanez-atk-500ka-4-string-l225/page__p__2191751__hl__atk__fromsearch__1#entry2191751 I am not a fan of the look of the ATK range, but the playability and tone of these beasts is awesome. What do you guys reckon to the ATK range.
  5. Hi All, I recently had my Hercules twin guitar stand break, it has been used with care but extensively and was well out of warranty. I contacted Hercules Stands (shopatron) and a very helpful person called Alex in particular. I sent a photo of the damage, and Alex very kindly sent me a donor stand from their spares pile which had all the parts I needed to repair my own, all free of charge, I have now repaired my trusty stand and all is well. This is vindication as to why all my stands are Hercules, they are the best designed, robust and quality items and they back their product up in this way. Just thought I would share a good service story. Cheers All
  6. Always willing to listen to interesting trades!
  7. There is no real comparison between a Rockbass and a pukka Warwick, I have had both and currently own a RB Corvette, and whilst the Rockbasses are very good instruments, these are a different level altogether. Tonally for a passive this is brilliant, and thanks to the tonewoods it really growls when you dig in, great tone. It will be heavier than the Rockbass due to the nature of the hardwoods, but it is well balanced and not too heavy. Hope this helps.
  8. A couple to be getting on with! courtesy of the previous owner. It is actually a really nice greeny brown, but it is hard to capture. 9. would it work with a mic plugged in? like the integrated one?
  10. To be honest that is about the right market price for a Fortress, and I love them! but you will struggle to get that with a knackered truss rod. The reality is that at some point it will need a tweak and all of a sudden it will become an expensive job. Maybe someone on here can tell you how much of a job this will be. I believe some of the earlier ones had some kind of removable truss rod system which may mean it may not be so bad an issue. Either way, good luck with the sale.
  11. Cheers guys, this is why I love BC!
  12. Hi Guys, Having just acquired a lovely Trace head of this very forum I now need to move on this cracking amp. Will post pics if there is interest. £250 plus postage. Cheers Stuart
  13. Hi guys, I don't normally get stuck with these things, but has anyone got the tab for the above song?, I can get most of it, but it still doesn't sound quite right.
  14. unlike Mike Pedulla, awful backup, lousy customer service, I had two Pedulla's at the time, because of his attitude I sold both of them.
