  1. Chris, just contacted Wizard, they can't help.... I must check dimensions as I am guessing this isn't MM sizing.
  2. I have a lovely Squier Vintage Modified HB Jaguar, which is a great instrument, but I want to upgrade the pickup. The current one is a Musicman type, does anyone know of a straight replacement for this. It is an active bass also, so don't know if I would have to be looking at replacing the eq too? Cheers all Stuart
  3. Oh, and £100 will be OK for a quick sale. Cheers Stuart
  4. MM, Unit is fully operational and in great shape. My paypal address is [email protected] Cheers Stuart
  5. Yes, was that one, gave it a good setup and it sounds wonderful with the roundwounds, but thought Flats might be better, but you got me thinking...
  6. Hi Guys, I have just acquired a lovely 80's US made Foundation Fretless with the super ferrite pickups. I am going to put some flats on it, what would you guys recommend? and what do you guys know about these basses? Will post some pics soon. Cheers Stuart
  7. Hi Guys, You all know what these pedals are, and this one comes with the PSU, Manual and is housed in a aluminium type camera case. £110 delivered to UK mainland Cheers Stuart
  8. Monckyman, great rant and you are absolutely right with what you say, love your final paragraph, totally true. And yes, I agree bass players do tend to be nice folks, and helpful, but perhaps you guys are right, perhaps we need to get a little tougher.
  9. danthevan, you also bring up a key point there, as I am driving (and playing) I don't drink, which puts me in the minority, this alone get you a driving job!
  10. When we gig, I also own all the lights too, so have all that to cart too, I just wonder what it must be like, just to take bass gear and me to a gig and back again, would seem so easy! Evil Undead, I'm not necessarily saying its a bad thing, and in the main I really don't mind, but as thumperbob said it is amazing how quickly these things can be taken for granted. I was curious, because it is often the bass player in a band who takes a lot of the responsibility. Plumbob, good to hear from another Herefordian low ender!
  11. I am just curious, because in my main band for the last 9 years I have ended up running the guitarist and his kit around for every practise and gig. My second project band has me doing the same for the drummer. The singer in our 5 piece (main band) is retiring and we have decided to be a 4 piece, trouble is the keyboard player doesn't drive and has heaps of kit who the singer used to cart around and I can see what is coming on the horizon.... My question is: I am just a mug or does this happen to any of you too? I have a six seat car (Multipla) which has the back seats permanently out because of all this, and should I just buy a car that is just big enough for my kit? or better still just say, 'sort your own s**t out boys'.
  12. Combo on Hold - compact cab for still for sale £125 complete with padded cover collected from Hereford or meet up within a reasonable radius.
  13. With the cover collected would like £275. Cheers Stuart
  14. Up for grabs here is a cracking powerful bass rig. ABM C115-500 500watt 1x15" combo and a matching ABM 1x15" 300watt compact extension cab. Both in great condition and complete with brand new padded Silverstone covers. Will post pics if there is interest. Would ideally want collection from Hereford or could meet up within a reasonable radius. This is a truly wonderful sounding rig and very capable, but I am not currently using it and it is a waste sitting in the corner of my office. Grab a bargain at £400 for both including covers.
  15. I had this for a while and it is an exceptional bass, really tempted.............
  16. Hi Guys, Got this recently from a fellow basschatter, but I really don't need it and it is a surprisingly good bass. I hope he doesn't mind but here is the original thread: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/192476-sold-peavey-millenium-4-transblack-bxp/page__p__1875256#entry1875256 I will deliver this to UK mainland for £90 or can be collected for £75 Super bargain! Cheers Stuart
  17. Cheers guys, getting the one from Andy, result!
  18. Hi guys, I am trying to find a black scratchplate for a Fender Japan Geddy Lee Jazz, don't want to fiddle around with a pattern one. Any ideas who might do them in the UK? Cheers Stuart
  19. Forgot to mention, this has a passive/active override too.
