Hi all, I have an Ashdown Superfly amp which is now surplus to requirements: It is one of these: http://www.ashdownmu...tail.asp?id=156 It comes in an aliminium flightcase for safe transport (camera hard case type), and it has had the sensible mod of the clunky ally outer case removed. So it is a plain black square very functional amp. I have used this as a backup amp very successfully and it is a really clever programmable amp. Anyhoo, How about £110 plus P+P Cheers Stuart

Hi all, This is a very special bass, which I traded with CPBassman, (Hope he doesn't mind me using his quote and pics) My band has finished through illness and I cant warrant keeping hold of so much bass kit. This is no ordinary Masterman, mainly because this is an original Warwick with the Wenge neck. Specs are: Fortress Masterman in Flamed maple finished in translucent emerald green with black hardware. Ultra slim C profile Wenge neck with Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard, jumbo frets and side markers. MEC twin Jazz controlled by Volume, Pan Stack and 2 independent bass cut and boost stack knobs. Schaller D Tuner. This bass plays incredibly well, and is one of the nicest Warwicks I have ever played, but I will stay true to my well gigged Dolphin for now. This bass is approximately 15 years old and was a custom order, it cost around £2k new. CPBassman said: 'Ive used this as my main gigging and recording bass for the last 14 years. Many basses have come and gone in that time (i.e. other top line Warwicks, MM, G&L, Shuker, Status) but this one has always been the one that gets used. I was very lucky to have this made via a friend who worked closely with the Warwick workshops back in the 90's and he asked me to design my ultimate bass from the options they had available to them'. 'She has amazing depth and character. Wonderful to play with plenty of mojo, road wear and dings in the usual places. The neck is unmarked and true with a very effective truss rod for even the tinyest adjustment. She really does sings like a bird or she can growl like a feral animal when required (as good Warwicks do)' I am asking a total bargain price now of £600 plus postage

Wiring a stereo jack for active basses...How?
vmaxblues replied to vmaxblues's topic in General Discussion
Wow, you make it sound so simple! cheers -
Anyone know how to wire a standard stereo jack input for an active bass?
-
Just spoken to them, they aren't interested in anything pre 2000!
-
a 9 lug jack socket, to replace the one that should be in my Ibanez Musician. I can find them in the US but not here in Blighty, can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Anyone got a wiring diagram for an Ibanez Musician?
vmaxblues replied to vmaxblues's topic in Bass Guitars
Cheers Andy, have emailed him -
Hi All, I recently bought an Ibanez Musician bass off this forum as a project, all the electrics appear to be there, and the pre-previous owner cut a load of wires to remove the electrics so they could sand the body down. They did make a nice littel diagram showing where all the wires should go and they originally labelled all the cut wires etc, unfortunately only one label has survived. I can pretty much guess a lot of the wires but there are a couple that have me foxed. Anyone got a wiring diagram or similar I would be most grateful. Cheers Stuart
