7. Saturday afternoon pre-gig bump for a great bass! and a price drop too to £250!
8. It is official, I am a rubbish photographer!!! It looks a bit poorly hand brush painted by the controls, but I think could be tidied with a bit of patience and skill!
9. Ah, I do remember selling a red Washburn 6 some while ago..... and you are more than welcome to buy again!!!
10. As soon as I get home I will post some pics as a few of you have quite rightly asked!
11. Hi All, I bought a project Washburn Status headless a few months ago, it was basically all there apart from pickups and electrics, and there was a bit of a paint discolouration where the controls are, although you cant really see this unless close up. I installed a pair of nice Mexican J pickups and a genereic eq in it, and some nice black knobs, new set of strings and voila, a headless Status (Washburn). It plays nicely and sounds actually really good, nice clean tone. There are a few marks here and there but it looks the part and is a useable and competant instrument. It is sadly another bass that stays in the overfull rack and rarely gets an airing, and since getting my ACG I am purging my collection. If you are looking for a pristine example, this isn't it, but it does look very smart and plays well and the price reflects it's mojo and history. If you are interested I will post some pics when I get home tonight. Yours for £195 plus postage or as ever you are welcome to collect
12. Bump for price reduction to £265, an absolute steal for this bass!
13. Hi Kurca, I have responded to your last PM, sorry if I have missed one. Cheers Stuart
14. I'll take the walnut one please! LEt me know postage and your paypal address Cheers Stuart
15. Hi Guys, Selling this as I simply don't pay fretless anymore, it is a great instrument with some great hardware and electronics. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=81287&hl= Only issue, is that when it was delivered the straplock at the base of the instrument got snapped off and chipped a bit of paint on the base of the body, I put a new one in and it just leaves a bit of chipped paint, it doesn't affect the playability etc, but I am just being totally honest. Hence, £275 + P&P or you are welcome to collect. Cheers Stuart
16. UPDATE: Would trade this for a small but powerful amp head WHY Hi All, This is a really great sounding bass, it looks like an acoustic but it is really a solid body, see specs: http://www.gregbennettguitars.com/sab13.html http://www.guitareast.com/remingtonbass1.html These were about £700, I am asking [s]£265[/s] £225including a soft/hard case (you know what I mean) plus postage. I will post pics if there is interest, the bass is in great shape with a couple of small dings, hardly noticeable. Cheers Stuart
