My ACG is finally finished and on it's way!
vmaxblues replied to vmaxblues's topic in General Discussion
Yup, first ever Gallus, and it is an acrylic impregnated fingerboard, can't remember the wood though, must look it up! -
HI All, My long awaited Gallus 4 is now finished and hopefully on it's way to me this week. Can't wait to gig this and hope it will be all it should be, will post a review after the next gig.

I have a Boss TU1000 in basically used twice condition, ie excellent! complete with aluminium flight case, this is probably the flashiest tuner on the planet and a great bit of kit, but I lack floor space at some of our gigs and have gone back to a small pedal. So pick up a bargain! List price was £199, I paid £149 plus £29 for the case. comes complete with power supply. Hi guys, I am now using my Eden WT400 as my main gigging amp and this is way too good to be used as a back up head, it has been my main gigging head for several years and has never missed a beat. It is a great twin channel amp, but I guess you all know about these. It comes in a nice mini flight case too. WIll put pics up if required, but it is in good cosmetic condition and does everything it says on the tin! I would be looking for £375 plus shipping or you would be welcome to collect and try it out if you would like. Cheers all

Peavey B Quad 4 Brian Bromberg Signature bass guitar What we have here is a really great condition Peavey B-Quad 4 Brian Bromberg Signature bass, just like the one recently posted from Switzerland, which is interesting because these things are uber rare. I have therefore cheekily (apologies to OP) pinched his details as they are identical for this bass. This is an extremely rare, sought after and versatile bass guitar, suitable for all playing styles. I am looking for £700 collected or plus £25 p+p, This bass is supplied with the original hard shell case and operating guide. Listen to: Brian Bromberg - "Brian Bromberg" (1993) http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=6979117 Reviews: http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=1988&type=bass http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=1751&type=bass http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=2295&type=bass http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...y/B-Quad+4/10/1 This bass was designed in collaboration with Brian Bromberg. Specifications: - Solid flame-maple body - Modulus graphite neck - Phenolic fingerboard with 15" radius (fretted) - 34" scale lenght, 24 frets - 13 degrees tilt headstock - Graphlon topnut - Reduced-mass "mini" bass machine heads - 2 VFL active humbucking pickups - Low-impedance output (18-volt) - Fully shielded electronics - Stereo/Mono operation The two VFL active humbucking pickups were designed and built by Peavey to provide the widest range of the tonal spectrum for bass. The coils are wax-dipped, then the pickup is shielded and potted to eliminate any microphonoc feedback or external interference. the four piezo pickups increase the high- and low-end response of the instrument as well as its sensitivity to playing nuances and harmonics.

Need to paint a bass, what's the best paint to use?
vmaxblues replied to vmaxblues's topic in General Discussion
Great advice Thanks -
Hi huys, As the title suggests, I am looking to paint a project bass I am working on. What would you guys recommend I use and any tips and tricks you could pass on would be gratefully received. Cheers Stuart

Hi guys, I am working on a project bass, and it really needs a repaint, and i am tempted to have a go myself. What would you guys recommend as paint, methods etc... Cheers Stuart

Hi guys, I have recently acquired this as an additional cab for my mark bass rig (LMK and 2 MB 1 x 15"), but I still prefer my 2 1 x 15"'s. Therefore this has become surplus to requirement. it is in great condition and does everything it should. I am asking £300 collected for it as that is what I very recently paid. Oh and it will come with a cover too. I am based in Hereford Cheers Stuart

Hi guys, I recently acquired this in a trade, and it one of the best EUB's I have played, the sound is perfect and it is very comfortable to play. Unfortunately I have quit my band and need to rationalise the huge amount of kit I have. I hope the OP doesn't mind but here is the original link: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...amp;hl=aria+swb Allowing for current economic conditions I am going to set this at a very realistic £600 collected! I am based in Hereford

Hi Pete, Did you find that 250w was sufficient for most pub gigs? Cheers Stuart
-
I know, and I am wondering if 250w would cut it. I normally use a MB LMK head. That's my main concern.
