Since getting back into playing I needed to get my playing ability back up and I found that short scale really helped, so much easier and lighter to play, now with a few more gigs under my belt I am transitioning back to 34" scale. I have a few basses up for grabs, all in excellent almost as new condition. Here we have a lovely Ibanez SRMD205 Medium Scale 5 string bass, in a stunning metal flake sparkly blue! Thank you oldslapper! Very kind sir. It is a great bass, I have moved to shortscale otherwise would keep it. Would have happily gigged it anywhere.

I have had this a while and it is a very capable active 5 string. When I bought it it had a bit of damage on the back of the guitar, doesn't affect playability in any way, purely cosmetic and as it is at the back no-one sees it! I put a little black paint on it and it has never caused me an issue. The bass plays well, sounds good and is a great back up bass for a gig, or main gig bass for those gigs you don't want to take your £3k pride and joy too.

So tempting even though I am on short scales now!

It is a gorgeous colour and has been my absolute favourite. Have had many Ray’s this one has been the best by far

Neck is absolutely fine, there is a small ding on the front, but it is hard to spot, other than that it is in excellent shape.

I now seem to be firmly entrenched in short scale playing now and have decided to move on my beloved Stingray 5 string. it plays and sounds exactly as it should. Complete with soft gig case, s-locks. I know I will regret this, but I am on the search for decent 5 string SS basses.!

I have a pedalboard I put together a while back, which covered all my needs, now I have decided to not use pedals. would prefer to sell as a complete board but will most likely split it if there is enough interest.
