  1. I have a gorgeous metallic red Ibanez Roadstar II in superb condition, it has two MM style pickups if you are interested in a trade for the SUB?
  2. Only thing i can slap is the drummer....
  3. I believe it is 34", but I am at work currently, but I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong! It certainly isn't short scale, lovely slim neck and all that too!
  4. Cheers Mark for the comments, it's always nice to know the lineage of the instrument. It is without doubt the easiest neck in the world to play, and I am glad about your comment on price, because this bass is such quality I am starting to think I am underpricing it!
  5. Top bloke to deal with, great communication, fast and effecient payer, everything you would hope for!
  6. Looking at that thread it looks like I need to relook at the price, I got this in a trade deal and allowed in the end a lot more on it! Therefore, I will let it go with a case for £ 500. Cheers Stuart
  7. Back from London bump, also might be interested in trades.
  8. I will have to weigh it for you on the trusty scales, but it is a lightweight bass, lot lighter even than my Dolphin, and yes schaller do do drop D tuners! Cheers Stuart
  9. It is in immaculate condition, no marks or dings that i can see. I would include a hardcase with it. You have to play it to believe it! Cheers sTUART
  10. What we have here is a light, super slim necked 4 string beauty! This has been made by Luthier Les Evans based in Liverpool. It has a 7 piece maple and bubinga neck with six set bolt fixing, maple body, schaller hardware, kent armstrong pickups, john east u-retro with passive switch. The neck is really slim and fast and the tone is superb. This bass oozes quality and is a joy to play, but I have waaayyyy too many basses currently and this needs to go to a good home. I am looking for a nice quality fretless in exchange, cash either way Cheers Stuart Here are some pics:
  11. I have learned by bitter experience not to lend kit. I will lend now but only to people I trust and know. General rule is NO, I have had two amps ruined (including one vintage Trace head), and two basses damaged this way, and you get comments like: I didn't mean to do it Lucky it wasn't a new one Sorry mate, suppose your insured then Wasn't me, it was like that before i touched it But, never any cash strangely If someone had opened my case and started playing my bass I would have been really unhappy!
  12. and I will have the footswitch! Let me have your paypal address and funds will follow Cheers Stuart
  13. Just a long shot here, anyone with a Genz Benz shuttle 6.0 want to trade for my GB Shuttle 3.0 plus some cash? These are fantastic amps but I think in the future might need more grunt. Just a thought
  14. I always see music as shapes - what does that say about me?
  15. Our keyboard player is looking for a powerful compact amp, I wonder if this would be any good?
  16. Dead simple, walk away, don't touch this with a bargepole. Amateur promoter - Always goes wrong, trust me. Lending kit - Never do this, I have had too much great kit ruined before I learnt this. It is curious that 2 other bands are playing and can't bring kits, this stinks, run for the hills.
