2. Hi, I have now bought two other precisions and no longer need this one, lovely looking beast, looking to get back more or less what I paid for it. Heres the original link http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=68981&hl= Looking for £150 delivered Cheers Stuart
3. JUst bought some strings from him. Great guy to deal with, good comms and superquick delivery. Buy with confidence people!
4. Just relax, you know you know how to play it, including backwards! your worst enemy is a) nerves, and thinking about it too much. So, relax, switch off and enjoy, muscle memory and neural pathways will take over and most importantly, enjoy the moment. Good luck and let the bass force be with you!
5. My recent ebay/paypal experience: 1) Sell 5 string bass on ebay 2) Buyer pays 3) I send bass 4) Buyer complains about bass, he has tuned it up 3 frets higher than normal and the neck has bent! 5) Paypal take funds off me (purchase price) 6) I request bass back 7) On return, bass has been buggered by idiot tuning it way beyond manufacturers recommendations and knackered neck. 8) Paypal refund seller 9) I appeal decision having done nothing wrong, buyer has wrecked bass 10) Paypal looks into appeal 11) Paypal say the buyer mentioned bent neck in his complaint and even though he had caused it.... 12) Paypal refunds seller I am now seriously considering never using ebay again, it is expensive and as a seller you are totally unprotected.
6. Doh! Sorry, being a doofus and rushing.... Will post the correct answer tonight
7. In answer to the question, string spacing at the nut is approx 9mm from centre of strings, hope this helps
8. This was Happy Jacks! and yes, infra red technolgy, makes for a lovely clear sound, follow the link on the original post, very interesting, and it works really well. This sytem was used on Zon's originally and the inventor decided to make his own basses, this is the result.
9. Will measure it tonight and get back to you. However, I am no 5 stringer and I find it comfortable to play.
10. Cheers, but it looks much better in the flesh!

Hii Guys, This is a stunning bass, that sounds so clear but unfortunately it isn't for me, firstly because I am just not using 5 strings enough and partially because I keep gravitating back to my trusty Warwick. This is way too good a bass to be not being used enough. http://www.lightwave-systems.com/products/...bass_guitar.php Forgive my bad photography: Comes with original gigbag and charger, and is in immaculate condition, totally as new. A new one from Bass direct is £1299. I am asking £750.00 plus postage, or you are of course more than welcome to collect
12. Hi Mate, I wasn't being sarcastic at all, although I can see how you might think so. I am actually grateful for the input. Cheers Stuart
13. I bow to your knowledge my friend, and thank you for putting me right. Cheers Stuart
14. It is interesting what you say, and you may well be right but I have had a Pro II and moved it on as it wasn't a patch on this one, the neck on the proII i had looked like maple and the neck profile wasn't as good, this one is a darker wood and needs waxing. This is a far better quality than the II I had, so I really don't know what to think.
15. My main bass is a warwick Dolphin Pro 1, in a painted black/red finish (see my acatar), it has a bolt on neck and two J pickups. It has one of the thinnest Warwick necks I have ever played and has a fabulous growl. I have never seen another one like it with that configuration. Does anyone know anything more about this. It isn't the Japanese Series 2, it is a German made pukka Warwick, and I was once told it was a special order and quite pricey. Any info would be gratefully recieved
16. Hi, My main bass is the red version of this except it has a JJ pickup configuration. Great bass, wouldn't part with it. Cheers Stuart
17. I am almost speechless, how can they re-hash the Entwhistle bass so blatantly and award it to Adam Clayton, this is almost spitting on John's grave in the name of commercialism. What next, The Bill Wyman signature Hofner violin bass?
18. I'll get my coat.... Great playing, loving your slap video, which is amazing as I don't actually like slap!
19. Put me in the queue for the eden head please
20. I use badges for bands and they are excellent and quick
