Yes, I did see that one. I think it is in better condition than mine; hence the price. Mine has a ding on the body, as you can see from the pictures. It is priced to sell 🙂

Do you think the letter in the serial is a "G" or a "C"?

You are probably right ... this may be the first Jazz Bass Special series made in Japan (?) ... I should have written "Duff McKagan before Duff McKagan" 😅 Also, I am not entirely sure whether the serial is "G" or "C" ... I think is "G" ... however "C" would put the bass back a few years.
